Honestly it makes sense that Ralph is a snitch.
According to the PPP/Warski stream when they covered this, there was a phone call between Ralph and Corinne while the timeline means Ralph had to have still been in custody wherein he told Corinne he was at his truck when he factually wasn't and wouldn't be released for hours. My refined schizo theory looks like this:
- Ralph gets detained.
- Ralph is questioned, the tip-off to the police probably identified Ralph + associates so they want to get any info about accomplices from him.
- Pig squeals and coughs up literally anything he can think of, blubbering names out of terror induced by his suspended sentence/you can't holler over and ban people who will taze you/just being a bitch in general.
- Corinne gets mentioned and matches one of the people they're looking for, they ask him if he has a way of contacting her.
- Southern Outlaw bravely agrees to submit fully to the lawmen at the first opportunity and happily offers up that he can phone her and lure her to a specific location no problem.
- Ralph tells Corinne he's at his truck so she can head over to him--Ralph isn't anywhere near his truck at this point and Corinne gets grabbed on stream not long after she arrives.
- A five minute conversation where Corinne immediately vomits up more information about her than you could want + makes it clear she's just an inept ditzy retard with a dubious grasp on reality makes them realise she's pointless and none of this matters.
- (West) Memphis Gangster is turned loose a couple hours later once it's determined the only threat he poses is a risk of crushing someone if he were to roll over onto them.
- Ralph is visibly shaken and flustered about the experience on his drive back and desperately hopes nothing comes of his prolific snitching.
