It's not that Chris doesn't play a part in his fuckups, it's that literally every one of his fuckups has someone else's hand involved in it to some extent.
I personally know how easy it is to control the manchild, so it's hard for me to ascribe agency to Chris unless I'm sure no one else is involved. It's not that he has 0% agency, he does have some. It's just that really hard to pick apart how much is Chris vs the nerds with too much money+time.
I just can't laugh when I read about something potentially hilarious, but then welp, I delve into some twitter PMs and half the script was written by some stupid I HAVE AUTISM PLEASE LAUGH AT ME who sent Chris $100 to get his name in the comic.
Idk, it's just been perpetually unsatisfying to not find a single lulzy thing Chris has done on his own in years.
I've got cwc (battery-charge) blue balls.
To me, bitching about whether Chris is or isn't at fault is just a waste of time. To me, it doesn't matter, it was a gay op. Just throw the whole thing away. Fuck.
I can't even take his personality seriously as being "his" anymore because he's got like 5 gay op plots running around in his head right now. I can't tell who Chris is anymore.
Heh, well, one of the doctors that did gave him a script for tranny hormones, so I don't know if they know what they're talking about either.
You’re looking at it the wrong way.
Chris’s autism, stupidity and tremendous gullibility makes him unique. He’s not entertaining by himself though.
Think of Chris as the tard Stradivarius. Without someone to play him, it’s a unique instrument with a very peculiar history, but just an instrument.
The magic doesn’t happen without someone pulling the strings.
Even the parts where he got arrested after trying to tardflee?
What about the parts where he is selective about what he told the therapist and acts entitled for money tards give him?
Chris acts like he’s insane isn’t necessarily Chris being insane though.
Yeah, he might have 5 idea guys ideas running through his head at any given time, but unlike somebody who’s truly schizophrenic, there’s an element of choice of what he believes in order to escape his sad reality.
Try as you might, you won’t see an Idea Guy succeeding with implanting the idea in Chris’s head that he needs to get a part time job, or spending 20 hours a week helping out in a soup kitchen.
A true and honest schizophrenic/crazy person has no choice in his/her beliefs, which are usually extremely unpleasant for them. Being controlled by CIA/aliens/having their thoughts read, etc.
If they’re hearing voices, they try to keep it as a secret as well.
Chris? He obviously only chooses to believe the kooky stuff that somehow “benefits” him, and makes his life more interesting and less sad. Same with the voices he “hears” that usually serve the purpose of backing him up: “Magi-Chan told me so and so, so please donate!”
This is also why Chris hasn’t been “caught” or diagnosed by a psychiatrist yet. He’s smart enough to realize that some bad things would follow if he told a therapist about his Goddess work, etc, and clearly in control of his own reality, so that he can ignore those beliefs.
TLDR: Chris isn’t “crazy”. He chooses to believe some crazy things (or chooses to pretend to believe them) in order to make his life more interesting and less sad, and give him a sense of control and power.
