It's probably brief, ridiculous, and slow. However (rate me optimistic) he might actually be very slightly improving his physical fitness and burning like 50 calories extra if he does this regularly.

Oh great Chris has a new hazard to his health around the house. It's a good thing lead, radium and other "miracle cures" made From potentially lethal substances have been banned I can imagine Chris drinking a bottle of radium water and the loss of his jaw bone being written of as "a disturbance in the demensional force." Which is literally what Chris belives makes him sick nowadays.
