So I googled "The Crystal Council" and it's apparently a monthly subscription service netting you a box of new rocks, soap and other shit monthly.

Based on the amount of rocks in that picture Chris took, he's now paying 50 bucks a month for rocks that are literally worth a fraction of that.

Bob was right; back then he stated it was hard for Chris to identify things outside of Virgina. It kind of compacted over the years. He was lucky enough (even though he was tricked) to cross state lines at least trying to learn the rest of the geography.

One of the most telling thing about Chris and his understanding on the rest of the country is that someone had suggested that he move to San Francisco (this was before sockness), where he would be more catered to easily, but his response was that "San Francisco isn't Virginia." Which means Chris doesn't care, or he's really apprehensive about change. If he was smart enough, he wouldn't go to SF because of the high level of living. It would cause his tugboat to be garnished, which wouldn't sit well with the manchild.
