So wait, I’m a little confused— is Go Pony or whatever what Hasbro is calling G5? Or is it something else entirely like a spin-off or something? I figured Chris would be all over that shit and he seems like the kind of manchild who’d like TTG-style shows. Actually, does Chris even follow modern cartoons anymore outside of MLP?

I believe one is an offshoot made to be similar to Teen Titans Go! while the new generation of My Little Pony is something different (Hasbro's fifth My Little Pony toy line/cartoon series (A Reboot)).

So what’s the issue then? It’s the same shit just done in CGI. There’s still gonna be bronies to harass. Plus there’s all of the FiM related fanworks that are currently ongoing. Plus the end of the show had a definite resolution— they’re all old or some shit.
Whatever his issues are, I’m hoping this’ll push him away from the fandom enough that he stops caring about fucking ponies. I’m tired of it. I miss the days when Sonic was still his primary obsession.

He's sperging about the new generation of MLP, and "#GOPony" is something he called the new spinoff show of MLP G4 comparing it to Teen Titans Go while complaining that this new show will ruin any chance of new content of the original show (despite it having a literal series finale)
Chris' issue with the new show is his belief that there needs to be five new seasons of the G4 show because the pony princesses "told" him there needs to be and the series finale was premature with Hasbro not chronicling the new seasons. Legit his anger comes from a mix of not accepting change and his delusions.

GOPony is a reference to this show called Pony Life which uses the G4 characters but in an animation style similar to Teen Titans Go. The old plots are all dropped in favor of more humorous and light hearted stories as far as I know. It's sort of supposed to just be a fun series to hold people over until G5 is ready. Chris of course hates any out of change and especially this.

Ah ok, so it’s exactly like how Chris freaked out over Sonic Boom even though it was a completely separate thing from the main Sonic continuity. You’d think a guy obsessed with roleplaying alternate universe settings would actually appreciate shit like that.

Well Chris also hates the concept of Canon for whatever reason. It's hard to describe why exactly he sees something he likes or doesn't like and doesn't care if it's in the main continuity, he just reacts.

True this shit is basically a repeat of the blue arms hysteria where Chris acted like an angry 4 year old because of a minor design change. This time he might actually do something worse than pepper spraying store clerks because before he at least knew sonic was just a fictional character, imagine all the things he would do if he was convinced that my little pony is real and g5 somehow has legitimate consequences for his imaginary world.

chris doesn't like 'different' things. he expects franchises to just run forever and never change or innovate. part of its the autism, and part of it is his own entitlement. If sonic changed, then he'd have to change sonichu and he HATES having to fiddle with his imaginary playground.
This might be a reason for his merge narrative, to side step the idea of canon since he's said he hates continuity because he can't maintain it in his comics.

That gazebo looks like it appeared on something from Investigation Discovery with at least 3 bodies buried under it. The "come on in caption" just adds to the effect.

yeah chris I'm sure that excuse will hold up in court as well as "sonic told me they were hurting him." Honestly i'm amazed he didn't try that excuse back when he maced the yellow shirted foe at GameStop.
