I think assuming a new heartsweet's influence is most probable on this one. From what Kiwis have told us, this is another unremarkable vidya series(?) about lesbian Sailor Moon ripoffs with a whackjob fandom. That would be enough for Chris to take interest in it, sure, but that "market" is so saturated, the only way I can think this slice of cheesecake could stand out is if someone showed it to him.

That other stuff about him communicating with these characters via psychic link is just par for the course at this point. They're in CWCville because of course they are.

So Chris brought a hexbox and has been playing vidya and drawing this? I think this is why the pages were late, I hope the patreon backers expect this to happen more often.

At the risk of pointless pedantry, PandaHalo's two hedgehog abominations were stowed in S-Chu balls. This apparently made it possible to save them by throwing them out of a high window. Logically, you'd assume that super-fast creatures could simply have bundled Panda over their shoulders and raced out of the burning building thus saving her life, but hey she'd died in Australian brush fires so Chris had to write her out. Also, Night Star has made a point of buying two S-Chu balls in the latest issue, ostensibly to take back a 'souvenir' for Pinkie Pie to Equestria. Not creepy at all.

So, yeah - pretty much no point. Except there are Pokeballs in Pokemon so Chris decided that Sonichu needed some equivalent, however redundant, because :autism:.

Oh, of course he will. Their resemblance to Sailor Moon cast members all but guarantees it. At the very least there'll be much starry-eyed shipping sighing and worshipful awe over how very beautiful Christine is.

Sonichu has always been on tugboat. His housing, and one assumes all of his other expenses, are met by the CWCville authorities. He has no job, all the better to make him more like Chris. The flea-ridden little yellow vermin just does good stuff because he's the hero, at least in theory. CWCville in general, under Chris's mayorship at least, tends to ignore inconvenient things like rent/mortgage payments, utility or food bills, debt repayments, etc. Remember how Patti-Chan was just handed an apparently bottomless credit card on arrival and told cheerfully to spend, spend, spend because she didn't need to worry about repaying, ever? CWCville is Chris's happy place. Of course no one needs to work there, all of their financial needs - and presumably, all of their wants, can't go without that vital Lego and vidya after all - are met from some nebulous endless central pool of funding. All part of the cotton-wool ball safe space that is CWCville.

I can't think of any fandom that would've been worse to get into, but I'm very curious to see what twisted things he comes up with for cwcville's newest inhabitants.

If he only started the games recently they definitely got added in quickly, compare with ponies that he's loved for decades and only just incorporated them in some way last month.

You'll have everything you'd ever want - a house, supplies and food, but only if you're Chris' friend. It's a wonderland for everyone except the poor residents of the seventeen soup hotels that CWCville has.

The catcher's mitt in the first drawing is Discord from My Little Pony, who was inspired by Q from Star Trek. Like Q, he's also able to shapeshift, which is why he's a catcher's mitt now. The character was a bad guy for a few seasons until he was reformed, and apparently he's also Chris' friend now. Nobody can resist Chris' charms.
