Also, I like the fact that he is giving Equestria Daily advice about ponies and how they're drawn when he made them look more like abominations from hell than actual animals, let alone ponies.

eBay sends a 1099-K if you exceed thresholds ($20K in 200 transactions if it hasn't changed). Chris wouldn't have seen a W-2 since Wendy's.

the thing that you guys aren't considering is Chris spends a lot of money printing and shipping out his comics. if he were going to declare his Patreon income he would also declare his expenses, which ranges from his crayons to the gas money to get to the End Games to draw on that easel. you can really fuck around a lot with taxes to sound broke (when you're self employed anyway)
