Yeah, there's not much we can do but speculate, especially since @Marvin won't give us the scoop lol.

Personally I find a lot of what happens regarding Chris and money to be weird. But it's hard to keep things straight when we keep hearing weird conflicting stories that (from my perspective at least) doesn't seem to add up. Like did you pay the mortgage or not? Are you going to the convention or not? Etc.

I hope Chris (or anyone who can...) tells us what's up sometime soon.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if.chris screwed himself over again. He doesn't have and patience whatsoever when it comes to money being in his account. I honestly think Marvin actually knows what going on, but he's going to sit on whatever he has until either Chris decided to throw it out there, or people get sick of waiting and Marvin eventually releases whatever he has

Chris probably has more reason to resent Barb than she does to resent him. Cole wants nothing to do with Barb. And IIRC neither does the rest of the family. They have to have some reason for that.

If I were part of the Chandler family I know for damn sure I wouldn't want to associate myself or my family with anything Chris and Barb do. Especially Chris. I wouldn't want them coming over, Barb begging for money, while Chris attempts to convince the remaining family members that he's a true and honest woman only to end up yelling at a small child because he/she called Chris by his name or the wrong pronoun. I assume the rest of the family's not want to deal with the embarrassment of being associated with them, and I'm pretty sure either they known what thosetwo morons have been doing since the last family reunion, or Cole has brought them up to date, telling everyone to stay far away from them.

I doubt Chris is that deep, Chris probably resents Barb for hampering his fun, plus he's already constructed a new narrative about how Borb totes accepts his lifestyle choice as a sexually confused crossdresser. We might have more reasons to resent Barb, but we are not Chris. I'm sure that to Chris, Barb's ass rises in the East and sets in the West.
Barb is multi-faceted compared to Chris, but that's just because she has a higher IQ and infinitely more life experience. Can you imagine, in your own mind, being the bell of the ball who met some guy at a bar and now, you're aging like a moldy sack of potatoes? Add to that being taken care of by your dimwitted son, a petty criminal draped in terrible girl's clothes, who is also aging worse than you are. Although Barb was an insane, frigid coot at an early age, she probably still imagined herself surrounded by intelligent, cute grandbabies at her beck and call. It's not that she does not love Chris because she most likely does, but Chris' biggest dream is waking up in CWCville with lactating breast and a gorgeous polyamourous couple by his side.

I wonder if Barb ended up laughing at Chris when he told her he is married to two of his fictional characters. Did she say, "chrisshun, they're not real, go sell more of your stuff for Mama!!", Or did she say, that's nice Chris, now leave me alone so I can watch my shows.

I was gonna answer everyone who answered my last post but it became a text wall so I thought I'd save everyone some scrolling.

There's two things we're pretty certain of, or that I'm pretty certain of. One is that Chris is gonna have nothing when Barb's estate is settled.

The other is that Chris will most likely have to file for bankruptcy because he won't make it if he has a couple hundred dollers a month in credit card and loan bills.

But the news from @Marvin that Chris pays 50% of the expenses at 14BC is the best CWC news I've heard in awhile (if I understood him correctly). Chris might blow it after Barb dies but he's at least showing a sign of responsibility.
