It's true, the picture really does work any way you rotate it!

I don't get why Chris gave away his all-controlling, iron-fisted grip on CWCville like that; Isn't the whole reason he's always been so invested in CWCville because it's the one place he has total control, where everyone acts how he wants them to? But he chose to hand off that control to Idea Guy, and let a virtual stranger dictate terms for the characters he's obsessed over for 20 years? Seems totally contrary to his massive ego, control-freak tendencies, and the "Only I know what is True and Honest in the world (and especially in CWCville)" he's always had.

The whole thing is just bizarre. Chris has obviously always been crazy, but I wonder if he's really going to go off the deep end as he gets older, esp after Barb dies.

That's before CWCville became reality. In reality Chris has no control and thus loses control of CWCville when it becomes "real" to him.

What for? It looks like he went form seeing Sonichu as a "parody" (in his understanding of the term) of Sonic, Pokemon etc. to viewing our reality as a parody/alternative (worse and incomplete) verison of his TRUE and HONEST reality which exists only in his mind. He'd just give Miyamoto his smug smile and tell him, "Uhm, darling, do you even communicate with cartoon beings?" :tomgirl:
I don't think Chris ever actually thought Sonichu was a "parody". He just called it that because "parody" means you can use someone's IP without having to ask them. He most likely doesn't understand that a parody is meant to mock whatever it's parodying, which is why he got pissed off at stuff like Asperchu, which was a literal parody.

Yeah, no, he'd get confused as shit. "why would I make fun of sonic?"

It's the kind of thing Bob would've been able to give Chris a reasonably good explanation of. Not that Chris would've understood much of it.

But wasn't CWCville always real to him? He's been saying stuff that implies he saw CWCville and Sonichu characters as real for years.

(Actually, has he ever said anything suggesting he understood they aren't real? I get the impression he's thought of them as real since their inception, but he's just gotten more and more immersed in that ever-more-elaborate CWCville "reality" over the years. And that he just thought it was a given that everyone understood that cartoon universes are real.)

From as far back as his meeting with Mary Lee Walsh, where Sonichu was speaking through him. How ever that went down, it was creepy enough to get him a psych evaluation and a restraining order against him. So his definitely been communing with his creations for a while.

Chris posted about wanting his “fans” to find out what year his iconic shirt is so that he can request the company to start making them again....
