I think it was probably diverted somehow. It turned from what looked like a pretty serious case into probation pretty quickly.
My guess is he'd have to pay that back later. Usually if there's some question as to whether you qualify, they'll let you use the PD but then bill you.
I think that too. Also he claimed that despite having $18,500 in the bank, he had literally nobody in the world, friend or family, who would get it for him so he couldn't access it.
I honestly believe a weirdo like this could be telling the truth about that. Lmao he literally has no friends, his family wants nothing to do with him, and it's because he's the kind of dickhead who would look at a retard like Chris and think "whoa, there's my meal ticket!"

The saddest thing in the world, I think, is when your own family and friends don't care about you.
They're not mad, you might not have even done anything wrong, they just don't care. They're not interested in you.
I think that was the case with Chris, too, even before his internet infamy...
People just didn't care and he exacerbated that by everything that he or his parents have done.
Like I said, over the years I've seen Chris try earnestly to make friends with people or connect with various family members and I don't think his intentions were bad or anything, they either just didn't have a good relationship with his parents or they just didn't care one way or the other about Chris.
Caden I don't think has that issue. There was a time where he had family and friends that cared about him, based on the evidence we can see, I don't think it was about that they gave up on him I think they were just pushed aside or they were disgusted and left.

Considering he's the kind of guy who starts dealing drugs and obviously is so clueless about it he just immediately gets caught (maybe why they went easy on him), and on top of that is the sort of guy who thinks parasitizing a retard is a legitimate way to make a living, I think it's safe to say he's both a lolcow and an asshole.
Having no friends at all kind of cements that. Not even anyone willing to help get his own money to him to get him out of jail.
The fact that he grew shrooms hints at at least minimal competence at stuff like that. It isn't rocket science, but I have definitely known people too dumb to do it. It requires at least attention to detail, proper hygiene, not letting the stuff get contaminated with unwanted bacteria/other shrooms/etc.
Not sure how he fucked up but my guess would be he has no connections that would enable him to sell his product, so immediately got caught when seeking one out, or found some autist like himself who ratted him out when he got caught.
Should have done the Dark Web.
Also possible from the nothing outcome of the case that he's a snitch now.

Idk man… The “no friends and family” is likely BS. We sure as hell know his dad likely helped him buy that house.
And call me cynical, but I reckon a guy who’s gambling on a grow up for a quick score, would have no problems lying about shit to get a public defender.
The shroom growing also shows at least some intelligence. Not just in the production, but also in the kind of drug he manufactures. In reality there’s plenty of drugs he could have made with a simple lab, or even grown weed. But mushrooms are the kind of weird hippie drug that prosecutors and judges are more likely to go lenient on.
As they apparently did in his case. There’s no fucking way he’d have gotten 5 year’s probation if he had been making meth amphetamine or some weird research chem.

My understanding from reading this thread was that he had all his shit out in the open in a rental, and the maintenance man came in for an emergency water leak call and found it. Quite literally the most retarded way to get caught.
Also rate me mati I don't care but can we stop using terms like "drug manufacturing" and "drug lab" to describe it? The dude was growing shrooms, which you do with water, dirt, poop, and a big plastic bag. Idk what you guys think growing shrooms looks like but it's nothing special to see. Usually smells shitty, like that smell when someone is neglecting pets. But I guess that's a smell that Chris wouldn't notice which is just another tick for why Chris would be good cover.

I'm going to take a wild swing of the bat and say that the father passing away probably didn't really set him up for success.
Bob dying didn't do Chris any favors and the man did try to leave him something; it might have been that way with Caden and his father, too.
This kid needs to get on the right path and leave morons like Chris alone.
From the pictures it seems like he had a nice family and he needs to get his shit together before he ends up like Chris, "he's Gen Z" be damned as an excuse.
If he's smart enough to come up with all this Praetor bullshit, he's smart enough to find a better path for those "smarts".

Holy fuck this jackass got a sweetheart deal. No wonder he glommed onto Chris. They're both Teflon Tards.
Only by evicting him if he becomes legally a tenant. Some sources say 30 days on that like the usual nolo/avvo sites but aren't citing specific statutes so I don't know, but at some point he becomes a tenant-at-will and you need to evict him formally. Of course, Caden may have the sense to have an actual agreement like a week-to-week tenancy.
In any event, he'd have to give some kind of formal notice like 30 days or 7 days, then proceed to formal eviction if Chris goes into Hedgehog Defense Mode and refuses to leave. Supposedly Virginia is landlord-friendly so this probably wouldn't take too long.

I wonder how the latest reveal fucks up Caden's nefarious schemes for the Big Island house? He must have had them, it seems a real weird place just to pick out of the blue. He seemed to put a lot of effort into making sure it wasn't easily found, the PO Box being so far away, covering up SONCIHU, doing green screens that hid a lot during Chris's livestreams, and all the cameras to watch Chris's car.
