Containment Random Chris Updates

Of course when naming the Autobahn the Germans had nothing more in mind than creating a pun to cheap plastic robots that where made around half a century later. Classy, Chris.

By the way does anyone understand this joke? It doesn't make any sense, exspecially that "und" confuses me ("und" is German for "and"). Or do you have to be a moron to get it?

In fairness to Chris, his poor attempt at a German impression (mixing und with... ein??) probably isn't that much worse that most native English speakers.

The joke is still terrible though. I think Chris is attempting comic irony. Bad Hitler is losing to Good Robots who are using his highway against him, a highway with a similar sounding name to theirs.

But I have no clue what side the soldier is on. He is speaking 'German' and says Heil but spits at Hitler and mockingly asks what he thinks. It's probably a waste of time trying to understand this one.

Hitler was a better artist than Chris ever was.

Also proof.

Not bad.
I'm no artist but I've read that his grasp of perspective was shoddy at best and he couldn't really draw people.

Art school would have helped with that if it hadn't been for those dang, dirty Jews.

This is another example of Chris only learning about the world around around him as it relates to his toys, cartoons, or vidya. He really is a waste of space.

I doesn't make any sense to me either. I'm not a native speaker of German but I've been to Germany a few times on holiday and I know enough of the language to know that ein/eine is a/an/one.

Also the pronunciation of "auto" is different in English than it is in German. In English it's closer to "ot-o", however in German it's closer to "ow-toe". Yet another reason why Chris' joke fails.

I have a really, really funny feeling that the whole "spitting in Hitler's face" is a reference to Spike Jones' "Der Fuehrer's Face" and the Disney cartoon with the same name.

We know Chris has seen the cartoon, and has made reference to the song in other videos. The song itself requires for the use of a raspberry (the noise, not the fruit) after each "Heil!" in the song, implying the singer is blowing a raspberry in Hitler's face. Since Chris has a really shit grasp on history, we can only assume he saw "Der Furher's Face", listened to the song, and didn't understand the satirical and propaganda elements and actually believed that's how the Nazis and other Axis powers acted (i.e. greeting their superiors with a "Heil!" and a raspberry in the face).

I could be wrong but that's my take on it.
