Then, there's the other part of people looking on in horror as if there's a bigger faux-pax to be seen in 2 males kissing as opposed to an adult male and a teenage boy.

This looks like a scene straight out of some sort of gay anime where two same-sex characters and others watch on in a mix of shock and amazement and say "woah! the dude/chick kissed another dude/chick!" Then reflect quietly if they actually enjoyed it, contemplating their own homosexual tendencies.

All that scene needs is for one of the Rosies to go "But that's forbidden love!"

Looks like Chris is back to watching anime, yuri/yaoi anime. He probably is referencing Katy Perry's "I kissed a girl" song too for that line of dialogue stating that he kissed a boy and did he enjoy it?

I don't like homosexuality in stories, I find it often used in a tacky and cheap way for shock value. Chris on the other hand, seems at his best writing about homosexuals and LGBTQ matters. Consider the following:

Magi-Chan - Goes from being in the closet, to lying about drugging the water supply, to dating a dickgirl. He also manages to help normalize homosexuality in an otherwise oppressive environment. Quite the story arc.

Silvana raping Blake - turning something horrifying into creating a genuinely funny scene where it is revealed that Blake is equally as dumb as Bubbles.

Reldnahc - Generally considered the opposite of Chris, but in the final reveal, the only difference is Reldnahc's openness about his homosexuality.

Blake - Hitting on Chris and having sex with a dick girl may hide his true personality as a bisexual.

Magi-Chan and Silvana - The only relationship in the Sonichu universe that is portrayed as being based on something other than wanting to fuck.

A notch above "Look at how naughty these two guys/girls are" or "look at this completely normal same-sex couple".

I am a big believer in that Chris will never change, nor does he have the capacity to spend time with previously stereotyped minorities and realize they're just regular people with their "good and bad sides". Chris has had every opportunity to realize that romance (not sex) between two men is just like a straight couple or lesbian couple, but he still chooses to paint gay men as predatory, ugly males who sexually assault children; talk about lack of self-awareness.

Chris had a valuable opportunity to use his exceptional platform and say, "look at how much I am celebrating love between two men". We would have laughed at it but at least he would put on some semblance of a facade.
It reminds me of when Chris was grilled about the "BLM" movement, and his response was quite contradictory to the parroted garbage he spouted on several facebook posts about blacks.
