Containment Random Chris Updates

I feel like the only way Chris would ever make it to television would in a limited TV series documentary on Netflix perhaps (similar to Making A Murderer only without any murder hopefully) that covered his whole life with interviews with Chris. I'll go ahead and rate myself optimistic because I know that if Chris managed to land a deal like this he would be difficult if not impossible to deal with during production and would also demand way more creative control over the show than would be good/possible.

We actually had something like that going with GenoSamuel's doc.

Shame that is on hiatus...

Chris was talking about getting his own Wikipedia page. Is that an random Chris update?

What, having an entire wiki dedicated to him isn't enough? Ah, but of course he'd do all he could to make sure that his Wikipedia page put him in a positive light. Share the TRUE and HONEST truth, to use his own phrase. Funny enough he was once GIVEN an ENTIRE wiki for his very own so he could do exactly that. He got power mad with it and fucked it all up. I'm sure having a Wikipedia page wouldn't go the way he wants it to either.

I don't know why, but every time that Night Star plushie is in a photograph it always looks creepy as fuck. Its like one of those pictures that seem innocent or mundane, but then you look closer and realize there's a ghost looking at the camera from behind a tree or family member.

I swear that fucking plushie has become Sonic Totem 2.o, except its a pony and not a hedgehog. Every time it shows up in a photo it stands out. It stares at you just like the original one did. It's as if even though the Totem left, its cursed soul stayed, waited, and finally chose the plushie as its new vessel. And now here it pops itself up in this picture desperately trying to let Chris know that it's still here. Desperately trying after all these years to be loved by him again.

. . .got a little carried away with that but you get my point. That pony's staring to give me the heebie-jeebies.

I think the pony doll is augmenting his autism and that that the totem just radiated him with it.

I always imagined that if Chris ever had a TV show, it would be a show like this:

These people have a new show now, "Mama June: From Not to Hot", and I've gotta say that the mother now gives Chris a run for sexiest "female" in the south.

For reference, here she is recently:
mama-june-2000.jpg

Both shows are terrible messes and if Chris ever gets one about him, I'd prefer it was some kind of "American Crime Story" thing- Chris's life retold with actors and in painstaking detail. Would be a super long series, but I'd absolutely watch it.

Boyd made Chris buy it, Boyd would roleplay as Gwenpool in their discord chats.
Then he chuckled to himself when he came on here and posted as @NinFreakLan and he played dumb when he talked about the Gwenpool statue:

Makes Chris buy something so he can bitch about Chris buying said thing.
A waste of everyone's time.

I disagree, Bryan Silva is cringe as fuck (and has a questionable past too), but he made it to Tosh.0 just fine, and could've made it to Wikipedia if anyone cared enough about him, I think the Annotated Sonichu dude said it best in his Q&A:

http://annotatedsonichu.tumblr.com/tagged/annotated+sonichu+mailbag/page/4

Now apply this thinking to Chris on Wikipedia, and add in the fact that the CWCki isn't considered a reliable source by the admins.

BTW, the mailbag is a highly recommended read, this guy has a unique take on Chris that I really like reading.
That kinda misses the point about Chris. Chris is not "eager" to be famous. He is deluded and believes that he has always been famous. He has always seen himself as (the good way) special. This has been reinforced by those around him because he is too stupid to see actual significance of everything. From Sonic contest to "honor roll grades" to response to his poorly drawn characters, Chris has always expected to be treated like the creative royal-blooded genius that he knows he is. Most of the times he has lashed out were because he was not treated with the deference he expects, like when (((Michael Snyder))), Mary Lee Walsh, that one CAD instructor, and anyone else laid an undeserved punishment upon Chris (to which he responded with drawings and magical spells because he has power over nothing). Or that time that the high school did not recognize his artistic talents.

Chris is much less well-known than he or people on here think he is. A literal hillbilly glutton gets far more viewers on even more mundane terrible content. And she is far from "famous." Chris was an old joke that is passed now. So goes the throwaway culture of the internet.

Not on his terms.

The one he was given (CWCkipedia) was a troll vector that was used against him multiple times.

Even before he was discovered by the trolls, Chris had ambitions to make Sonichu a media empire, he had fake game ads, put Sonichu on one of those "got m.ilk?" ads..etc.

He also clearly treasured his old TV appearances and was initially happy to know Sonichu had "fans", even now he is clearly revelling in parts of his infamy.

This to me screams out "I want to be famous".

I forget who said it, but someone suggested this he was doing a sort-of cargo cult thing where he put in phony ads and PSAs because those are in the professional product he was trying to reproduce. It would be interesting to know the thought process behind that - if he "got" that ads were paid for by third parties or not.

I don't think he ever did get it, Chris's view of media is heavily influenced by the Saturday Cartoons, Vidya and magazines/comics he perpetually consumes in his childlike fervor.

I think he did all those things because he saw them do it.

I always liked Chris's childlike view on how the corporate world works and how these companies would bend over backwards to be in the Sonichu business. My favorite bit: "I want to work from home as I feel most comfortable there, I also want a corner office..". He's just heard from all his sitcoms that a corner office is a thing a boss gets.

The most famous thing about Chris is probably that picture of him with the classic and the medallion, staring autistically into space. And that's mainly famous as an old meme. A lot of people would recognize him as being "that guy" or at most "Chris-Chan" and some would know about Sonichu.

I'd bet most of those people wouldn't even recognize current Chris or know anything beyond that.

Of those who do, the majority would know about the macing incident, and it would be just "oh yeah that autist who did that thing."

It's a tiny, tiny minority who knows all the shit on the cwcki and the majority of those people are here or on /cow/ or some other chan or chan offshoot.

He put ads because the things he copied had them. He copied the ads too. He never sold ads. He used product names and likenesses until a fake Nintendo chairman told him to stop (that was how it worked, right?) He also thought that Nintendo would seek him out. Why would they not? He is the Great Christian Weston Chandler. Everyone knows who he is. All have seen his creations. He did not need to market himself, because like his royal ancestors, the fame comes with being a Weston-Chandler.

Chris has done little, if anything, to further his fame. His strange view of the world is that everyone already knows him. He does not try to find further fans or enlarge his following. When he had a problem with someone, he took to Youtube because everyone would watch him. He "applied" for jobs and made "proposals" to video game companies through Youtube videos. They must have already known who he was. Just like everyone knows all about the guy who drew cartoon frog originally.

The idea that Chris is "eager" to be famous is false. He might have been long ago, but. since he was at least 18, has lived under the delusion that he is in fact very famous. He expected his ramblings to be shown to students in school because a virgin friendless autist who tried to relive high school years until he was 30 had a message that could improve the lives of socially-active sex-having high school students. He mentioned mundane parts of his life in chats with heartsweets that were only well-known to internet Trolls and Cyberbullies. His whole life is him relishing on successes that he did not exactly earn. This starts with the Sonic contest where they pulled his name "out of hat" and continued with his generous grades in high school and continued outpouring of money to him now. His delusions are constantly being supported. He is rarely made to face reality. When it happens, the result is crying, hexes, and hate.

I doubt he cares why people send him and his mother money as long as they send it. He is just happy to keep up his lifestyle and avoid all the stress that comes with being an adult.

I think he hoped that Nintendo would seek him out. Not that he thought it was particularly likely.

Chris' belief that he's famous was minor-to-nonexistent before the trolling.

Chris took to youtube because he was trained to do that by trolls. And when he applied for "jobs" and "proposals" via youtube, we specifically told him to make those videos.

Chris' belief that he was famous started out as a childish play-acting that he was famous (not that he thought he actually was), and it grew into a genuine belief that he's famous because we presented him with a shitload of (falsified, not that he can tell the difference) evidence that he was actually famous.

This was a cultivated belief, not something that he's always held religiously.

I agree with your larger point, but that write-up was written a long time ago, over 5 years I think.

Right now, Chris firmly believes that he is a recognizable celebrity, because what else would he think after an entire room stood in ovation for him?

Yeah, from the Youtube views on Geno's and Chris' videos, I still think they're quite small. I'd expect Chris' videos to be more widely viewed and covered by weebs, but he most regular coverage he's gotten is from people like based Shamen, sometimes Spylobster, and Geno for a while. Chris could have easily created some sort of set up that would have bought him in more money and the chance at more fame, but he isn't that intelligent.
