I have the theory that with Chris having such a barren imagination, maybe he developed all of that bullshit as the only possible explanation of people coming up with original stuff.

In other words, since Chris is incapable of original thought (beyond haphazardly mongo-mashing existing shit together), despite him being a creative geinus, that must apply to everyone else. So all those people who can create original characters and settings must be kind of cheating by "linking" to that stuff wich actually existed already on another dimension. H-how would t-they think of that otherwise!? Come on!!

He's actually only recently stopped using the chronicler term. None of his most recent dimension sperging included it, it was completely supplanted by creator.
