He's at the age where he's looking back at his nostalgic times because he knows he's getting old. Television was one of Chris's parents growing up, so what he saw influences his outlook.

Plus, lets be honest, Chris doesn't get into anything new, and his life is about as boring as it can get in bumfuck Virginia.

Holy shit, this is so autistic; I feel bad for what happened to Chris during the Idea Guy Saga.
It breaks my heart seeing Chris be so dumb at this point.

It's a little expensive in physical form, but you can get the kindle version and read it out of your phone for less than 4 bucks.

I have a hard time imagining Chris actually reading, much less comprehending, said book. From plastic ponies to the mindbending works of some genius autist is quite a leap.

Reminds me of when the Make-A-Wish Foundation managed to fulfill this one dying kid’s wish of getting his own YuGiOh card made. It was super OP and based on himself, and only one copy exists (probably buried with him at this point). I’m surprised Chris never tried begging WOTC for custom Sonichu cards before, since he loved getting special recognition for being a brave little autistic boy.

If Chris was dying and the make a wish foundation somehow offered to do the same (or he made them) he'd probably muster up what strength he has left to make it too am actual Pokemon game or tournament to use that card so he could die happy saying.."I just won" one last time.
