Except Chris at least had the sense to just shut Quinn down when she tried to re-insinuate herself. He seems oddly polite and accommodating to Sockness. He really hasn't learned a thing, which is why when he goes on to say
...there aren't enough 'laugh-until-you-cry' emoticons in the trans-dimensional World.
(Also, if that were true, surely it'd be easier for him to get the comics done more quickly, like Superman typing at super-speed or Una from Girl Crazy working on six or so works of art at once? Also also, what the fuck does 'my soul Working Tough' even mean?)

truthfully, he really hasn’t lost anything when it came to dealing with Sockness. If anything, he has gained more bullshit to add to his canon, so he can sell more cards/comics. Chris is just stringing Sockness along and just humoring him. That’s how I see it anyway.
