Containment Random Chris Updates

Also the word "donating" and "Chris" would never make sense together.
Eh. Chris is a greedy asshole, but he's been known to give the charity, buy gifts for friends, etc.

ik the chandlers did take some of the tugboat from Chris for rent but I don't know if they flat out demanded do one of those things if he wanted to keep living at 14 brancland. Maybe at first but it soon became obvious with the attraction signs, the love quest, and the webcomics that barb and Bob knew they were stuck with a manbaby incapable of doing anything and only slightly better than a screaming tard who can't speak and only slams holes in the wall.

Earning the tugboat may have just barely saved Chris from being either kicked out of the house or sent to a tard home.
IIRC, Borb didn't start charging him rent until after Bob paid off his credit card debt and took control of his bank account. I'm not sure that Barb explicitly charges him rent, but I know that she takes money from him to pay her mortgage.

It's so fucking weird for "Sonichu" to address Chris as "Mama". It's a baby word, or a word used by pyramid-scheme-slinging women to create a false sense of tribalism.
Didn't Sonichu always address Chris as "Father"? Why not use "Mother" then, or Mom? Maybe it's too strange for even Chris to have his imaginary son call him the same thing he calls Barb.

Chris roleplaying as one of his make-believe characters is nothing new, but every time I read that "Mama", I just wince.

As someone said elsewhere it's just Chris's southern drawl of always using mama even when someone's past the age they normally talk like that. traditional accent or not it's still cringey the way he calls himself mama. It sounds like he's regressing even further into full on infantilism

So before that, Chris wasn't even supposed to pay his share until he was forced to due to spending too much?

Yeah well, just not sure how often that is.

It's just that I've read about him more on e-begging than doing anything charitable.

Even when he does do charity, Chris would somehow spin it to make it about him.

It is kind of interesting to note that he never uses Papa though, or even just Dad. Sonichu used to call him Father, which is also how Chris has always addressed Bob. Southern dialect or not, Chris has some Oedipal tendencies.

He had Rosechu refer to him as "Papa" several times. I think he might have also referred to Bob by that on at least one occasion, although he used/uses "Pop," "dad," "father," or "Mr. C" far more often.

Has he called Bob pop/dad before? I can only recall him using “father” or “Mr. C“. Maybe I overlooked when he’d use normal names though and only noticed those because they were so bizarre.

Chris claims he was upset that he didn't get special acknowledgments for his art and whatever else he felt he was good at, but I think it was a compounding day for him. First we know he dreaded graduation because he liked being in school where people tolerated him and he got to fiddle around all day. He had a group of galpals and he probably believed he was somewhat well liked. All of that was going to come crashing down without much fanfare.

Maybe he thought it would be like a 90s teen comedy where all his friends would have a big house party and he'd lose his virginity. Then they'd all make a pact to stay friends forever. Graduating is just a day you go to the civic center and wait to get a piece of paper and handshake and just like that 13 years or so of daily school work is over. Chris hates change that he isn't coddled through, in fact he was probably constantly being asked what his plans after school were. Bob probably told him after that day he HAD to go to college, get a job, and pay rent. Probably telling him the free ride was over. Barb telling him he's about to get a lot more responsibility and he couldn't watch cartoons all day anymore.

So while I am sure not getting some awards pushed him to cry, I think he had a build up of emotion that came out as him being a shit on stage and being found crying on the bleachers.
In the fat autist's own words:

"I ended up doing what I did when I went up there to accept the diploma; NO HANDSHAKE, TEARS, AND RUNNING AWAY TO HIDE. They don't even have any pictures of that in the Y2K Yearbook; the caption could have read "Student Christian Chandler is Depressed and Sad for some reasons. His response is tears and fright."

Damn. If that's the way he felt things were going to go for him, then everything from that point formed from a snowball to an avalanche. Forget college and a job, Borb should have have locked Chris in like quasimodo. Then again, this forum wouldn't get the content it currently does. Chris was not ready to socialize.

George Carlin actually did a bit on a specific demographic of adults in the US who still spoke like that using the term “Muh Daddy” in a distinctively southern accent. Considering Chris was raised by the Silent Generation, him adopting that manner of speech isn’t surprising.

Nah, this is all Chris's doing. The sad thing is that the Idea Guys were such a success because they basically began by reinforcing what Chris already wanted to believe. Small wonder that they managed to get $6k out of him. They hooked him like televangelists with a ripe crowd of rubes all desperate for Heaven. Even the biggest conman can't succeed without that sucker who wants to believe.

Yet, we are discouraged to troll him because everyone says that "he has suffered too much". So if we can't white knight him, wish death on him, or enable him, should we sit back and do nothing?

You just sit back and enjoy the show. You wouldn’t run into the ring in the middle of a wrestling match, would you?

If you can get him to say or do funny shit I won’t stop you or critique you too harshly. But I will laugh at you if I found you were playing pretend with him for a few hours in toon world.

I think if you wanna do this, just remember he’s insane and probably needs to be in a home. In the earlier days nobody really knew how bad it was but exposed it more and more over time. He falls for shit no sane person would. And if you’re fine with exploiting and exploring that, that’s on you. Me personally? I’d just rather watch it unfold and laugh at all parties involved. But I will concede I did laugh at even the Idea Guys for a while. I just think they took it too far. Again whatever you decide to do is on you. I won’t discourage anything but if you do something cringe I’ll laugh at that too.

At this point in his lifetime, what more is there to do. He is so far into this whole "dimensional merge" thing and thinking his body is the host for Sonichu that nothing can get to him nowadays, especially now that he uses these fantasies as a form of escape from everything. All anyone can do now is just sit back and watch what he does with the rest of his life.
