Honestly, I'm surprised we've had an entire year go by and Chris didn't catch Covid, knowing how his health habits usually are. I was half expecting Chris to turn into a Covid denier he just pretended it had been solved in his dimension

The most interesting thing that happend all year was Chris RPing as Sonichu for months on end (badly might I add) and the fanfic readings were he sperged out over being called fat and stupid.

I mean he isolates himself a lot (or at least had been the last I checked in), and the only person around is Barb who isn't going to be going out an socializing or anything, so I assume that's the reason why he's been lucky and hasn't caught it.

The sonichu RP was kind of interesting at first but I found it got stale quickly. I was mildly impressed he didnt seem to slip up much with it though (afaik).

I always assumed that Magi-chan and Chris' marriage was one where Magi comes home after a long and stressful day, takes a look around a filthy and hoarded house to see his "wife" did sweet fuck-all while he was at work, pours himself a double bourbon to wash down a handful of Percocets to numb the pain of being alive, drinks straight from the bottle the rest of the night, then finally snaps and has a domestic violence incident when Chris comes bothering him for attention/money/food/whatever.

It's tiring that people still try to talk reason into Chris or catch him in an obvious logic trap. He responds to any input that contradicts his beliefs by saying "just because," and never gives it a second thought.

The only thing Chris understands is carrot and stick, and most of the time he can't even get the carrot part right if it involves physical effort.

The way I see it, he denies the Idea Guys came up with the dimensional merge because its impending arrival means he doesn't have to worry about such mundane things as ”bills”, ”not spending the tugboat on useless shit” and ”not being kicked out of the house after Barb kicks the bucket”, and as such provides a handy solution to his problems.

On the other hand, the idea of him beating his old self up causes him discomfort and doesn't enable him to explain away his problems with magical thinking, so he can admit the Idea Guys brainwashed him into thinking it happened without having to change his broader worldview.

The only "glimpse" of Chris/Magi Chan's sex life is the All Star video. Chris said that he will do Magi-Chan, then let Magi do him. Then Chris proceeds to just jerking and humping a pillow. Well according to Chris the IGs' only sins are them inserting nazis into Sonichu and extorting money out of him, so I imagine if they never did that Chris wouldn't consider them bad guys because they introduced him to his great escapist fantasy.

In most cases the carrot is actually just something he has made up in his head. So he isn't even motivated by a real need/want, it's just more make believe/escapism crap.
