It’s been a year since I’ve wondered what Chris has been up to all this time, not surprised in the slightest that he’s still at it with this “merge” shit.
Probably a lot of people thought this too, but it made me realize, how long is he planning to keep up this act? Thinking about if he’ll at some point get some sense to him & improve ( ) by the time he’s almost Barb’s age, or if he’ll die forever known as the most documented delusional nutcase since 2007 fills me with fear but curiosity at the same time

The Merge is all Chris has now. It went from being a comfortable power fantasy to escape his financial woes and garbage life to getting him attention from idiots who are willing to play along with him. But he believes everyone thinks he's telling the truth, and Chris wants it to be true so badly that it near as much makes no difference if he actually believes his bullshit. And now he's painted himself into a corner by claiming Sonichu is occupying his body in this reality and he's inside Sonichu's body (or he's just there as himself, it changes) in Toon Town and they won't swap back bodies until the Merge is complete. If he goes back on it now then he has to admit that he was lying this whole time, that he really isn't a goddess with all the super powers ever-ever, that he's not actually special or important, and that all he has to look forward to in life is becoming homeless after the bank takes the house when Barb dies.
