Has Phil ever justified his "Latin" heritage to his asspatters? IIRC neither of his parents is Latin. Also did they just collectively forget only a year ago Phil was actively calling himself Jewish?

This is one of the most baffling things to me.

Phil is unable to support himself. He is dependent on the help of others.

Now I do get that he movers in circles with an unusually high acceptance of oddballs and weirdos.
What I don't get is why the accepting people don't get sort of an epiphanias after encountering Phil.

I mean, he is what happens when you mix all the current SJW trends together: a toxic personality blaming everybody else for their own obvious shortcomings, ready to fly into hateful rages against any imagined "oppressors".

Phil has had 8,000 different sets of fundamental beliefs ranging from fascist to communist.

He's hated Jews and thought he was a Jew.

He's hated guns and glorified assassinating Presidential candidates with them.

He'd be a complete asshole even if by some miracle he became a moderate about something.

Just saying using Phil as a barometer for anything useful is a vain endeavor. He's not even a broken clock that's right twice a day.

As @AnOminous said Phil has had a large set of core beliefs in his life, but this isn't because He's matured or had a genuine shift in opinion. He is stuck in that teen edge lord phase and as I have said before he's culturally mutable. He will hang around a community just long enough to pick up some ideas of the terminology and outlying less complex issues that he can learn and handily parrot slogans that seem relevant.

He then takes what little He knows and then mixes a dash of autism and a sprinkle of crazy in a effort to fit in with his new friends, thankfully in the past most of the smarter people in groups he's tried to associate with have caught onto this and kept him at arms length or outright told him to fuck off but he's found a group of people who's mantra is "Listen and Believe" (well as long as you believe inline with our group think) so he's found a unusually large circle of "friends" for the time being who are only slightly more active than him. The good thing is some of them are now starting to not like the attention he's getting them and are starting to push him to the edge of said group.

Dude, I'm French, I know Corsican history.
It belongs to France since 1768, and aside from some independantists the vast majority of Corsicans today consider themselves French. Corsican, like most regional languages in France, has declined during the last century, modern-day Corsicans speak French.
Pro-Italian sympathies have pretty much disappeared after WWII.

TL;DR: If Phil's dad was from Corisca, he would most likely be considered French, not Italian.

You're overestimating the intelligence of Tumblrines. Most SJW aren't the kind of people who question themselves very often.
Easier to think Phil and others are just bad apples- and never ask yourself just why the SJ current seems to attract so many rotten people.
