Truscum are often called gatekeepers because they usually believe in "rules", for lack of a better word, for transitioning. Eg: see a therapist before getting your hormones, get letters from how every many licensed medical professionals before getting surgery, etc. I think it's reasonable mostly because *it's not that hard to follow these rules.* My hormones were prescribed on an informed consent basis, but for my surgery all I had to do was tell my therapist and psychiatrist i needed letters and they wrote them.

Sorry for the double post but that image above has got me thinking, You know how Marine Biologists are able to identify whales by the patterning and scaring they show from Photographs, And how this is now possible on a large scale due to the number of Photographs being uploaded by the public and libarys etc?

I think we would be able to now do something like that with Phil post cosplay era, using the progressive nature of his Tattoos and the patterning of his buttons we could get a very narrow date range down to aid in busting some of his more subtle (ha!) lies, while he doesn't seem to add new buttons often any more he does change the layout quite frequently, and he post's what ink work he's getting done and on what date with a fair degree of frequency.

This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw that picture. Studying the strata of the notorious Crustpunk Layer of the earth! It's that scungy yet slimy and cheesy-smelling bit that covers most of the west coast of the US.

He was actually nice enough to leave this on his Tumblr. A timeline of shit tattoos! Judging by that, the picture appears to have been from between 3 September and 3 October of 2014, right after he got the bike chain gender symbol on his right arm but before he got 'ELLAS/ELLA' over 'THEY/SHE'.
