I've gone on record before today saying Phil isn't really anything, he's to dim witted to have a understanding what he really is - this Bondage fetishist image he has is there to try and lend credence to his bad boy image.

Phil's Sexuality is one hell of an essay.
You can argue if he's actually tranz or if he's gay but the one thing for certain is he ain't a-sexual.

That I'm not so sure about, something is going on in his noggin at the moment that's for certain and he's been showing signs of doing a massive persona shift for a while now but the last few months have been really taxing for him so that is almost a rerun for the time he had such a major persona shift an took up moving around the western seaboard;

1) A presidential election that's caused a lot of salt.
2) A relationship breaking down that he had hopes for.
3) Financial stress (paying for the flat is killing him)
4) Not feeling so special anymore.

I don't think that the latinx blocks will ever go away fully, let's remember he cosplayed as j-lo 12 years ago when he was just a random sperg that's a obsession he's got that he will never really go away like maps. But it's something he's realising isn't all that special anymore neither is being trans, or gay so he's looking for a way to feel special again.

TBH, labels like "asexual" have been abused on Tumblr so much that I'm not even sure what the definitions are any more.

That's part of what attracts Phil to such labels though, he likes to think that he's the smartest mother fucker ever on any topic despite all evidence to the contrary so if he can't understand the label nobody else can either.

Having said that there are a growing number of times no matter how fleeting they are where he doubts his own intelligence but he then doubles down on his current routine till those thoughts go away, normally by scribbling out another map or some other drawing or currently running off to Gretta for whatever validation scraps he has to offer Phil.

Sounds like one of those light rail citations you get where you buy a ticket, but you're supposed to validate it in some machine before actually getting on the train. Then you're supposed to have that validated ticket with you so you can prove you paid fare, and if you don't have it, you get fined. It's pretty easy to get these accidentally, but it doesn't really matter. If you failed to validate the ticket, you get a fine if the ticket dude takes a pass through and checks tickets.

That or he really is enough of a thief to just get on a train, light rail or otherwise, with no ticket at all.
