I'm not sure this actually belongs here, but did anyone ever go ahead and try to redo Too Many Robots after Enter started working on Growing Around?

Sounds like something I would read on Tumblr. Kids in fact do have a better living condition with the traditional two parents in comparison to just one.

I have no idea what show/movie he is talking about so I'm just gonna assume that it's for his Mars Needs Mom review.
Skimming Mars Needs Mom's wikipedia article. Apparently the movie ends with the martians adopting the nuclear model family of a husband and a wife with kids and something. It's a harmless story, really, just something about how kids should appreciate their parents and stuff. Dunno what his problem is. Guess he could be doing some minor SJWing and complaining there aren't two male aliens together or something.

Should someone tell Enter that just because we're growing more diverse as a society, we're still not obligated to create token gay characters for the sake of having gay characters?

It sounds like one of those movies that has been panned quite a bit but I can't imagine how Enter's going to add anything new to the criticism the film has gotten.

Enter reviews very safe topics. Very rarely does he have an opinion that's different from the masses.

The only times he's taken an unpopular opinion was with stuff like his Trolls video... and generally he has very bad reasons for taking the wrong opinion (blocking out all criticism).

He's such a Tumblrite when he talks about social issues. If every cartoons had gay, tranny, or etc characters, he'll probably complain about them not having the right representations.

I actually think representation is important
But if you are going to shoehorn it on the background, or the whole point of the character is being gay, then is just forced.

I'm not against representation, I just hate when it does happen in shows, PC-ers on Tumblr make a big deal about it and complain about any minor detail that'll suggest stereotype .

"The parents in Fairly Odd Parents are so terrible! THEY ARE SHOWN AS GOOD PARENTS AND THEY'RE STRAIT! MUH SOJJJJEEENIII! PATRIARCHY! KILL ALL MEN!"

I'm not against representation, but I think including sexuality discussion on a kids show is kind of completely stupid.

It's a kids show, goddamn. Cartoon characters really don't need to have a sexuality. Leave that kind of topic for a more adult TV series.
Yes, people on tumblr act like the stories in cartoons are all about being straight, when, at the max, is about an innocent school crush.
And to go back on topic, so does Enter.
In his FOP review he bitched about a show in the early 2000's not having adequate representation.

Something Awful reviewed Mars Needs Moms and said the same exact thing he did, so he's not alone in this.

A thing that made me skeptical towards Enter was that I was getting into Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! (live action surrealistic sketch comedy) at around the same time, and they broke every rule that Enter set up, but they did so in a way that worked.

Not directly related to the Entersphere, but I saw this on Tumblr recently. It's originally from a blog by someone who works on the Cartoon Network show Uncle Grandpa, and it's one of the best rebuttals I've seen against manbabies like Enter who whine about children's cartoons:

I think that Uncle Grandpa's frankly annoying and even I think this guy deserves a medal.

But I suppose he has a point. In the end, Uncle Grandpa (and half of Enter's problem shows) aren't meant for him or people his age range. Even if I personally don't like it, it's not like the show was trying to appeal to me to begin with. Wonder if Enter will ever get this memo that cartoons aren't suppose to shift to meet his specific interests.

... Nah, he'll find something to justify his bitching.

I recall posting something he said way back in that long old thread about Enter. He often deletes his posts but he's very honest about what he talks about.
