I'm not sure why this made me laugh so hard, considering how nutty Chris has gotten over the years.
I was always so sure that he has at least one other major mental illness on top of his autism, but I'm a shitty armchair psychologist so I have no idea what it could possibly be. He has so many symptoms it's hard to place a pin on where it all starts and ends.

Chris is a tard.
No, I don’t mean in the proverbial way, I’m pretty sure that he’s mentally retarded on top of his autism.
His obsession with toys and merge nonsense isn’t just escapism into the safety of childhood, it’s also an expression of the mental level at which he operates.
At least to some extent.
At this point it’s be virtually impossible to untangle which parts are legit mental illness or retardation, which are autism and which are just bad upbringing and a shitty mother.
(And yeah, the trolling hasn’t helped either!)
But I think it’s safe to say that you have a point.
Fortunately, we have more than enough material for future generations of psychiatrists and Christorians to analyze.

My theory:
Bunch of wheens show up to see Chris's ashes crammed into the cabinet meant for Bob and Barb. Chris's container knocks over Bob's, spilling his ashes and a ghostly wail is heard in the wind "I'm cutting it down, right now..." . Barb complains incessantly to the mexican grounds keeper that a grave marker meant for two urns will not fit three. The real question is who shows up; does Null shows up to pay his respects? Cole? Megan? That's what I'm wondering. My hunch is the parking lot is gonna be full of cars with KF bumper/autism awareness bumper stickers that day.

Chris must've always used his whole name, even as a kid. Had he just gone by "Chris" instead of "Christopher", then "God and the bear" wouldn't have misheard autistic mumbling as "Christian".

I just read this new entry, and it's still hilarious reading about how Chris acts weird in public. This will never get old. I bet Chris thought he was going to get laid too.

I doubt it, to be completely honest. I'd say if it was meant to be a reference to anything, it'd be more likely meant as a 90's nostalgia thing. Sega is well aware of Chris (or at least "Classic Chris" and Sonichu) and Sonichu has been mentioned on one of their official Twitter pages for Sonic.
Plus you've got Mark the Tapir who's more or less designed after Classic Chris and a bit of the "Hollywood basement dweller" look and is meant to make fun of Sonic fan spergs in general.
Even though Classic Chris is bordering on a normie internet celebrity (albeit a C-Lister at best) thanks to PewDiePie and crew, I don't think Sega or Paramount intended one of the songs most likely to appear in a Time Life "Best of the 90's" collection or one of those "90's Hits" sound-alike CD's from Drew's Famous to be a reference to Chris.

Interestingly enough, Chris claimed that his parents were told that he wouldn't make it to high school or be able to read. Obviously, he managed (barely) to graduate from high school and he is capable of reading (somewhat). The "high-functioning" diagnosis came later, probably when Chris demonstrated he at least had the cognition to do the things he shouldn't have been able to.
Granted, this is Chris we're talking about so chances are good he's either exaggerating or making it up altogether. Not to mention, he is shockingly dumb for someone who's supposed to be high functioning so it's a moot point.

I have the unpopular opinion that Sarah Hammer is more important to Christory than Megan. If it weren't for Sarah, we wouldn't have Sonichu and the lovequest as we know today.
People were thirsty for Megan's point of view for years but I guess that wouldn't be so different than Lucas and Mimms Q&A. Sarah, on the other hand, was present in Chris' life during two times less documented: Chris' childhood and the time during Wes Li; Her point of view would bring new info we never heard before.

To be fair, Christopher is a pretty common name and shortening it to Chris is even more common. I'm sure it started out early in his schooling (Once he finally started talking) when a teacher would have him go by Christopher to differentiate himself from another Chris in the class. I myself have a pretty common name and growing up, I usually had at least one class where there was another kid with my name and this was what the teacher would have us do to differentiate ourselves. Of course due to his 'tism and need to suck his own dick, Chris tacked on the rest of his name over time to help signify how much of a special little snowflake he is. And to be fair, Christian Weston Chandler is a pretty baller name and I wouldn't have thought it be tied to someone like OPL at first glance.

I think someone got a hold of Megan on facebook and asked her about Chris. I can't recall the details but near the end of the short conversation was something along the lines of "Well, I guess that's what you get for trying to be nice to someone".... Barring some embarrassment she got out fairly unscathed.

It really is a good, strong name. Just goes to show, something something book cover. I'm a believer in people's names kind of influencing them, what if Chris had a spergy name like Corky or something?
