Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

In his sonichu last will and testament video you can see that he is continuing to bald. His hair line has receded to right above his ears, and the top of his head has thinned considerably. I'm not sure about grey hair because of the dye he uses.

lol, I was wondering about it too because I was curious how he'd react or handle it. I guess he hasn't confronted the issue yet, and probably won't until he gets to a point where he can't hide it and becomes more evident. Until then he'll continue to think he has the hair of a sailor moon character.
Considering white is a possible anime characters hair color he'd probably think he's turning into one...again Mind you the only anime I know of off the top of my head that did that is Rosario vampire and I doubt Chris has ever seen that one. Actually I have to wonder why didn't Chris get into harem animes like that? They're premise is basically pre tomgirl Chris's life long dream

Despite everything else in Sonichu, all his main characters were monogamous and loyal (before the Merge stuff started). I'd say it's because pre-Idea Guys, he considered it immoral, and post-Idea Guys, he considers it mundane.

Chris knows he is balding and tried to hide his baldness with hair from the back, which kinda works. This is the most recent picture from Bronycon 2018 that shows his head without the headband and shit. Not sure, but seems like his balding kinda stopped or slowed.

So it looks like he has some grey hair, I wonder if that's the reason why he decided to dye it in the first place? I don't know what can be done about the balding. It's not an issue I'll have to deal with myself, but I can't say I put much stock in over-the-counter restoration products. Hair transplants sound expensive.

Fuuuck, he’d look so much better if he cut it way shorter. Hairless is part of growing older, but nothing draws attention to it like long ass, stringy hair like that.

Who’s the heartsweet? She’s pretty hot. I assumed she was a horsefucker (I refuse to say Pegasister) But she isn’t 100 lb overweight. What gives?!

What a lot of insecure men don't realize is that owning your look with confidence and swagger goes a LONG way to getting people attracted to you. I know of at least 3 different men who shaved themselves bald after they were receding, and they got a lot of girls after the fact.

Or, if you're really dedicated to keeping something on top of your scalp, change up your diet a bit, cut it shorter, and then just don't bring attention to it or talk about it. So as long as it isn't a fucking combover, you'll do fine. But I highly doubt Chris has the will, capacity, or fortitude to even consider changing an iota of his lifestyle that requires effort, so what the fuck ever. :\

Oh that I don't dispute Anameisaname, and thanks for uploading it. Just lamenting that not only does his style not improve, but his ambition is at an evolutionary dead end, too.
Quite fitting considering the absolute state of the world and people in it. Or at least from the non stop news cycle it seems shtf.

Damn how many times does that make now not once not twice but Thrice denied by Chris Tran?

It's sort of fitting that what Chris Chan is to us, Jacob is to Chris Chan - a slow-in-the-mind manbaby that cannot be educated in how to behave. In some parallel universe, Chris became a father, hoping to have Crystal Weston Chandler. Instead the mother (Megan, The Wallflower, Sarah) either fucked him out of pity or was kidnapped and tied up in the basement, and gave birth to Jacob Sockness. Then, disgusted by this Oswald Cobblepot of a fetus, she gnawed through her restraints, climbed over the hoard, and never looked back.

Unhappy with his -boy-, Christian sulks and tells them to shut up, unaware of the hypocrisy that this spawn of a Chandler continues to out-Autism him in every way. Chris considers smothering it, but needs the extra dollars from the monthly tugboat. What's worse, Jacob keeps drawing crappy sonichu art and putting it on the fridge, ruining Chris's head canon.

Is this cogsDev the tankie? Of the /pvcc/ who tried to monetise autism? :optimistic:

Not sure about legal support for that, but in the UK, I personally feel that it takes a certain effort to become genuinely homeless. Whether you're on benefits or in employment (or indeed both if your job's part-time and/or low-wage), you should be able to find somewhere to live. Whether it's a room in a shared house, a one-person flat, or a house. If you're evicted, then yes, you will probably face a downsize of your living space unless you've got enough savings/are independently wealthy, but you should be able to find somewhere.

To be genuinely homeless takes a deliberate wish to become so. And, if you're fully prepared for a hobo lifestyle, then good luck to you, genuinely. But of course there are those who are just so far gone that they'll be completely incompetent at finding somewhere new to live. I suspect, sadly, that Chris falls squarely into this camp. Short of the kindness of local government/enablers/strangers, his odds of becoming genuinely homeless seem pretty likely to me.

Hello!

I am a PhD student at the University of Toronto within the Faculty of Information. My background is in History and I have completed my Masters in Library and Information Science.

I am currently researching the documentation and archival process that has taken place during the first decade of the 21st century (from 2001-2010) in regards to what i like to term as the "Golden Age of Internet Trolling" before it became more widespread than before and had warped into something else. I am particularly motivated of learning the concept and reasoning behind such a process.

I have known about Christopher (or Christine if you prefer) Chandler in the early 2000s but have never participated and only watched from the sidelines. It is only when I began my PhD research that I remembered the Chris-Chan was one of the prime candidates within this "Golden Age" and through my digging in both the CWCwiki and other places, I came across this forum.

I was wondering if it is still possible to connect and have a short discussion (Q&A mostly, some descriptive outlines) with a number of people who were active in this area? While I realize that some (such as BlueSpike) would be disinclined to interview due to their own actions, I feel it would still be worthwhile to connect to them in an attempt to understand their process and their background when trying to approach this topic.

Any help would be appreciated in this matter. As per the FAQ I am also tagging ( @The American Hedgehog, @Karen Riley, @Marvin, @Alec Benson Leary, and @yawning sneasel ) in an effort to get their help.

Thank you!

There is a metric butt tonne of information here. Just sift through it and make your own academic interpretation. Anyone you interview will have a bias.

“I REGRET NOTHING! I sleep comfortably every night knowing there’s still a piece of Crayola Model Magic lodged somewhere in Fatass-Chris’s poop chute thanks to me!”

Bluespike, probably.
