The Merge encompasses all of his greatest desires. It solves all his problems, brings dead loved ones back, makes him rich and powerful, and allows all of his imaginary friends to exist. No one will be able to convince him to give that up in favor of his truly depressing reality. He’s cooked for good.
Yup. I don’t even think he really “believes” in the merge like as in a schizophrenic delusion, I think it’s just maladaptive daydreaming combined with escapism plus autistic obsession. He probably deep down knows he’s got no hope for a job, relationship, or any meaningful place in society and is an internet laughing stock, it’s probably his only way to cope at this point. Yeah it’s annoying and pretentious but honestly I feel like the idea tards only sped (heh) up what was already coming.
It definitely is no small part as to why he insists he's got a 'female soul', to further feed into his delusion that everything wrong with his life isn't because of his own learned helplessness established by his parents. Then again, women are paragons of virtue as long as he thinks he has a chance of getting laid. Once that's denied, the gal pal is a heartless harpy I tell ya!
I mean what that little girl did was very kind (although it could have been the parent making her share) but I’m not going to call Chris selfish for taking the toys for himself when he won the contest. I’m sure any other little boy with the mental age of 5 wouldn’t think of sharing his contest winnings either. It does say a lot about Borb though that they didn’t suggest at least giving some of the toys to charity.

The issue is in how Chris is sexist towards other men for traits he himself expresses and is delusional to believe they are a woman since personally I believe Chris believes themselves to be a woman just to be beautiful and live the easy life than anything else
That’s true. I’ve noticed a lot of men with autism tend to think like that about women and get along with them better and that’s why they tend to troon out. Like they don’t get along with men and find being a man difficult because autism so they romanticize women as all hearts and flowers and kindness and see being one as the ticket to the easy life. Females with autism are the opposite: they think women are catty and complicated and think men are simple and fun to be around. Perhaps if CWC was born female she would be a total pick-me and hate on women for being bitchy and eventually become one of those tumblr female MLMs.

They really do have that peak 2000s feel to them. Modern material is just tragic and deranged for obvious reasons. It's still some years off and I suppose we don't really need the comic since Sonichu still comes up but there is part of me that's curious if Chris would actually go through with Sonichu being "Metonic" in the late 2020s. It'd be kinda surreal to see a post-Sonichu Chris.
Pre idea guys, his grasp on reality was already pretty shaky so no its not possible to reverse the dimensional merge. I mean chris supposedly had a dream where the "grim reaper" told chris he would take robert in 2015 and chris believed it.
Chris also believed that his “Curse Ye Ha Me Ha” can actually curse people, that he will get an office job because of a dream he had at 7, believed binaural beats will make him into a woman and cure his autism, and had “premonitions” about having a daughter named Crystal.
