Oh yeah the hypothetical situation would be a shitshow and he'd be begging for every mortgage payment until foreclosure.

Barb living in an old folks home (or whatever euphemism her ego can handle) seems obvious though - I can't see her nor or hosts being happy living together.

Guess we have to wait one more month - likely the legal system wants Chris out of their hair so it's a matter of someone else caring enough to sort him out a new life.

Everyone involved only wants the path of least resistance, which is Chris returning to the temple and living off the tugboat until he inevitability fucks it all up.

Assuming Uncle Tom and Aunt Harriet really have taken charge of Barb, I can't see them willingly throwing away whatever equity Barb has in 14BLC by letting it go into foreclosure. I can see them selling the property out from under Chris at the first possible legal opportunity to secure that equity for Barb's ongoing care. They're certainly not going to maintain the property just for Chris' sake.

There's a difference between drawing C-Quarters and him actually trying to pay for things with them, which Emperor Norton actually did -- successfully, I might add.

Though I have no fucking clue what Chris thinks they're worth, since Chris said:

"The C and W Quarters are literally 25 cents apiece"

But he also says in the comic that W Quarters are worth 10 C Quarters. I can only guess that maybe they are actually denominated in W cents and C cents, where W cents are worth 10 C cents, not US cents. Therefore there is no official exchange rate.

They may not have the legal authority (power of attorney etc.) to sell it (yet). There's no law against paying someone else's mortgage, but there are several against selling property that belongs to someone else.

Chris' concept of money has always been a little vague. He recognizes that some numbers are larger than others, but he's not very familiar with the idea of value. Chris uses words like "worth", but he doesn't really 100% understand what they mean.

Therefore there is no official exchange rate.

They're not weens if they are just there to document. If someone there just watches and reports, they're not trying to win as the greatest trolls in history, just letting everyone know what happened.

In short, it doesn't make them weens, just people with weird interests. No different from the rest of us.
 
I'm at the point of saying should Chris even have the right to self determination at this point? I don't say it lightly or in jest but Chris is really in need of a competent person to handle his day to day life. I know people say well he isn't starving and can drive etc but he's not eating well, he's able to drive but in America that doesn't mean much, he's not able to care for himself or struggles to at a base level.

@Phalanges Mycologist A Special needs individual raised by elderly, out of touch parents is the worst personal hell for that individual (even grandparents raising their grandchildren have a better grasp at parenting than Borb). Chris just never experienced real life problems for him to solve and his fantasy coping is not helping. For as much as Borb trying to push against social programs, now they have be forced on Chris. Ironically, it's what Chris would want when he thought in his delusions that he wanted an assistant for his 'big office job'. I hope he doesn't have the social worker solicit sex on his behalf.

I think like most, she tends to forget (or wants to forget), unless it's brought up. I don't doubt some people tried to contact her about her interactions with Chris. Like with Snyder and Megan, they tend to want to forget their interactions with Chris and did end up being contacted by people regarding their run-ins with Chris.
