There has to be at least one individual out there who is just as severely autistic as Chris who actually enjoys his comics.
During the "Classic" days there was one: IIRC she was a rather autistic gal. Of course "Chris Chan", being the jerk he is, dissed her.

Since then I think that "Kengle" may be a genuine fan too. It looks like only very autistic people really like those "Sonichu" comics.

The autistic gal in question was known as SonichuIzCool. Chris, in his infinite wisdom, decided she was a troll and decided to make a call-out video where he called her "naïve and slow in the mind" and told her "I couldn’t even give a dang about you".

Completely random, but:
I just realized Chris is way closer to 50 shades of grey than I thought.

Chris-invader zim-jhonen vasquez-mindless self indulgence-my chemical romance-twilight-50 shades of grey.

This means there's an alternative universe where Chris plays a role in 50 shades of grey as the main character. Wow. Horror.

Saw USA Today headline about how the semicolon is going out. The punctuation "Honor Roll" likely overuses to sound smart when derping.

I have a theory that Chris-Chan is the Flatwoods Monster
  • Both from West Virginia
  • Both creepy
  • Both cryptid-like
  • Both emit strange noises
  • Both leave witnesses disturbed
  • Both feared, mocked, and endlessly talked about.
  • Locals hold festivals for the Monster, the Internet does...this...for Chris
I rest my case
I can't believe retards still don't know the difference between Virginia and West Virginia

Chris lost his direct link on the main page. Fitting.

But maybe it's not a bad thing that he's completely boring and painfully normie-ized now. At least it wouldn't be if we knew for a fact that he wasn't seeing Barb anymore, which we know he is which makes it horrible.

Edit: scratch that, Chris is back.

We're playing with the Big Boys now.

God that's a great song. If you've never watched The Prince of Egypt, you're really missing out.

It occurs to me for some reason, why did Bob get in on blaming Megan for the trolling?

Old guy was obviously smart but I know the internet was incomprehensible to him. I still wonder how he arrived at that conclusion. Senile? Coddling Chris by believing him?

Remember that Megan's brother was thought to be a troll by chris. And whatever Chris said to Bob and barb they took it as the truth.

Then when chris got banned from the game place, she kept going there with no issues all while ignoring Chris.

Ah yes I miss the days of Chandler family conspiracy theories. The Greene county school board theory is my personal favorite. Mainly because if it we're actually true it would be so fucking funny.

I don't think Bob or Barb could comprehend people on the internet, states away, that have never met the Chandlers, could organize any kind of trolling attempts on Chris, simply because how could someone that never met the Chandlers, know anything about Chris?

So it must have been something local. Snyder, or Maybe Lucus and Mimms, but it was Megan that Chris kept talking about. Mix into Barb hating any other women, and Megan blowing Chris's sexual assaults off made her the focal point. After all, I'm sure Barb had stories of her family members, or other "bitch girls" from high school doing the same thing.

From the one fake game place employee troll call, they both honestly did believe all the wacky shit Chris would tell them. They probably thought slow in the minds couldn't lie, or else, the simplest reason, the Chandlers were just that fucking stupid.

I really like this thought but Bob knew people on the internet were trolling Chris already and he knew how the internet sort of worked. Barb might be the exception as she seems to be the dumber parent.

I think Bob sort of understood the internet as in how it was in its very early days: connected libraries of knowledge of electronic documents, sort of like connected libraries where you could read the books in each. He probably even understood you could talk to people on it.

What he probably didn't know was Chris telling everyone about every little tidbit of his life and falling for very, very juvenile pranks and trolling efforts.

I mean he was so proud of Chris being able to beat 8 bit and 16 bit games, most likely thinking they were extremely complicated to know how to get through because, well they're computer games. Computer games are hard. And yet when we see Chris playing games, he basically just brute forces through levels, tries the same tactics over and over twenty times until he gets lucky, and just power on through.

Bob probably assumed it was a middle school cyberbullying situation, where people who knew Chris IRL were using the internet as a means to fuck with him. The idea that Megan was the one orchestrating the whole thing is of course absurd, but I can't fault Bob for disbelieving that strangers from all across the world were conspiring to torment his son. The very idea would have seemed like a ridiculous nightmare to the average parent of the time; such things simply didn't happen in the pre-Christorical era.

I think you're forgetting get my house off the internet. Bob did eventually find out Chris was over sharing. However he did not understand internet culture. I'm sure he didn't expect a site like ED to exist either.

For sure and good point.

I've always had an underlying feeling that bob believes all of his offsprings are geniuses. Bob did have a lot of pride.

There's always been a mystical and substantial divide between generations.

The trolls were likely millennials at the time, Chris's Gen X, Barbara is a baby boomer and Bob grew up during the Great depression and world war II.

If he was rather unaware of Internet culture, he's hardly the only one who was

I talk to Gen X people who have no idea about things millennials know about; a lot of times I find I have more in common with Gen Z and sometimes not as much as I think I have in common with millennials
