That's not being a hypocrite. He learned our native language through closed captions, while you were watching weeb shit with it on to try and understand plot. That's like saying "Man Chris you sure can draw all I did was perfectly recreate one of my favorite sculptures as a sketch!"

aw come on. you're learning pieces of a new language thanks to a medium created in that very place. you should be happy about your ability to learn from everything.
Chris, on the other hand, not only isn't learning anything but it's basically forgetting his own language.

After all this I think the saddest part isn't that Chris only watched Children TV.
Children programming usually tries to be somewhat educational, and usually refers to things like the countries of the world and what people does there, classical literature, basic science and so on.

the truly sad part is that Chris watches a shit-ton of programs and yet somehow is able NOT to learn anything.

I think the main factors are:
1) Chris is autistic and his parents tried to pretend it didn't exist, being of a generation where someone like Chris was typically carted off to the nuthouse. Chris is not by nature anything absurdly unusual, but his condition was untreated and so he grew up all wrong. By the time he came to the world's attention, the damage was done - you had a guy in his mid-twenties with the mind of an 8-year-old.
2) The rise of this crazy person coincided with the rise of the Internet. Had he come along earlier, he wouldn't have been able to develop an online presence to the same extent. Had he come along later, he'd have been just another Internet freak a la Phil or Greta or Raven.
3) Even becoming known to the Internet might not have been the end of the world, had he had parents who understood the modern world and been able/willing to advise him.

Infamy would not have happened had the other things not happened. Chris was a perfect combination of shitty genetics, shitty parents, shitty upbringing and stubbornness/laziness all happening at the beginning of the Web 2.0 era where his escapades could be documented and viewed by thousands of people world-wide

So in the purest for of what you're saying Hulkster is that Chris is the Ultimate Tardrage Shitstorm. Not even that lawsuit against gawker could compare to anything against Chris.
 
I just realized Cole's living Chris's dream life. Cole's wife is the breadwinner and pays the bills. This leaves Cole free to live in his delusions that he's the "World's Smartest Critic" without ever having to actually support himself off it. Chris desires a Sweetheart who will provide the same exact thing leaving Chris free to write Sonichu comics.

And Chris has Cole's dream life. Chris has the notoriety and fame that Cole wishes he had.

Pretty much. There will likely never be another lolcow like Chris.

Chris is even at that point where he is stupid, but not so stupid that you feel guilty about laughing at him, because his stupidity is mostly due to laziness and stubbornness.

I doubt it. Chris back then was a disillusioned man child, which is the same now. The difference is that he pretty much lost any form of passion to his life: his tard rage, stubbornness, and involvement in the internet.

The least you could say about Chris back then was that he was very active. But the new Chris isn't doing anything special beyond making facebook posts. By this point he is just wallowing in mediocrity as an arm chair activist. He became mildly passive, ignoring his rants, and lazy, more than before.

He is comfortable to be in his current condition, or at least tolerable to do nothing about it.
