So I've been glued to the Sims 3 for the last couple of days. I created Chris and Barb Chandler and put them in a recreation of 14 BLC (based on what I can extrapolate from the house tour videos). And you know what? Playing them as how they act in real life is incredibly boring...They just sit around and mope to themselves all day. I'd rather make and play some Sim family vaguely based on the monster mash (robot, alien, mummy, et. al.) or Hatoful Boyfriend characters or something.

I hope you gave Chris the Unlucky trait. It has been an endless source of hilarity for me.

Nah, I gave him the Slob, Couch Potato, Insane, Childish, and Inappropriate traits. You see, Chris is only "unlucky" because he is his own biggest troll.

But maybe it's because I get so much Chris material from these forums, but playing the Chandlers in the Sims is boring to me. Maybe I should make them do something besides what they currently do in real life? However, when I was playing one of my other households I did see Chris loitering to himself in public...like in real life.

With the latest update of Sarah Bevel sharing one of Chris' more disturbing photos, I thought of a thread we could make. We have the Lulzy Family Chandler pics thread which is fantastic. We need the Disturbing pictures of Chris thread. I'm thinking putting the pics behind spoilers, but compiling all of the really unsettling pics of Chris, conveniently compiled for gal pal consumption. Let me know if this is a good/bad thread idea, thanks.

What was Barb's political affiliation? Did politics concern her at all?

I know Cole calle Bob a "Republican Cur" so we know what he was. But Barb? Before the late 80s, many people in her demographic ( Poor southern white) voted democrat, even with the party's embrace of civil rights. She seemed congenitally poor, and judging from her church attendance, not terribly concerned with "Christian issues" such as gay marriage and abortion.

Does anyone have any ideas?

He went out with Faeryn (aka hambeast), but that was set up by trolls and her unattractiveness is debatable. Wallflower, from what I remember before her real name and pics were taken down, was average-looking, and that was another platonic friendship sabotaged by Chris being himself.

By Chris' stated standards, Faeryn was very unattractive. It's just that Chris' standards are bullshit and he always folds. Remember kids, there's a big difference between what Chris says and what Chris does.

Also, whoever that was set up by, Chris was still very much into it and was making googly eyes at Faeryn the whole time. Though maybe his fruity drink helped.

A charming lady like Barb wouldn't have well-thought-out, meaningful political beliefs. I think you could break her beliefs down to, "I sure as hell ain't votin' for a ****er!" And then she wouldn't vote at all, because fuck that, her back's a hurtin'.

Bob would have voted for whoever he thought best represented his sepia toned, rose-colored view of a world that unified itself to unseat that lousy Kaiser! And who also wasn't a ****er.

I think it would depend if she met his specific requirements, the most important ones being that she isn't black, old, with children or obese, the other stipulations I think he'd be willing to bend but I bet he'd treat her as a temporary girlfriend until his true sweetheart came along.

When he was a virgin with rage he turned down an older women with kids who contacted him so it's not like he'll date whoever comes along if he doesn't find them attractive.

Ahaha, Holdek, I always loved the pictures from this date. Faeryn's uncomfortable smile in the heart picture and Chris drinking the girly, fruity drink while Faeryn is drinking a beer. And that godawful goatee. Fun times.

A Trivial but Vexing Mystery of Christory.

Okay, here's one of those Unsolved Mysteries of Christory that has always baffled me.
I think is about time we all put our pointy heads together and psychoanalyze OPL's motives once again. Y'know, to see if we can glean some insight into this riddle.

Back during the Calling Out Saga, Chris would throw out random cryptic "factoids" about his "victims". Some were more cryptic than others. One was so cryptic, I felt my brain go "CLUNK" when I first heard him say it, and to this very day I still don't grasp what Chris was talking about then.
