On Chris' case, I like to think that he physycally has some unique, undiscovered by science, autism gland that secretes distilled autism.

Maybe it's located on his taint, and when he cut it open he was actually some small rational hidden part of his brain subconsciously guiding him towards the cure.

Chris sure stopped caring about Funko Pops. I thought it would be just like Amiibo and making custom Sonichu themed Pops.

Chris doesn't have gender dysphoria but he does have always had gender issues. He's always been skeptical of traditional masculinity, finding it hard to relate to other men. Almost all his friends (lol) were girls, and he couldn't identify with the alpha jocks on his TV shows. I think it's telling how his male role models were all fast-talkin tricksters like Sonic or paternal figures like Optimus Prime.

By contrast he's always readily glommed on to girly shit. He was into MLP years before the Brony fad and he's obsessed over magical girl anime well after losing contact with Megan.

He originally got into MLP because Megan was into the pre-brony collectable ponies from an earlier generation of the franchise.

I really doubt it. He talked about wanting the wading pool at McIntire park to be deeper, but that's the only time I can remember him talking about anything like a pool or beach. And there's only one Sonichu that can swim, so he probably thinks the norm is that people can't swim.

Not sure. I don't think so. To be fair a lot of people can't, especially ones who don't live near the water.

I grew up near the coast so I learned how to swim from a young age, and discovering most people don't take any kind of swimming lessons was really strange for me at first.
