His ego plays a big role in this. His narcissistic worldview often puts him in a position where he makes plenty of demands despite having no power at all over the other party, it would be cute or funny if he was doing this as a joke, but he's 100% serious when he does it!
In a way, I get my doubts about him ever growing up precisely because of this. Chris right now is at his lowest, if he were in the general populace he would need to get off his high horse to make his life bearable, and even in confinement he needs to stay in the staff's good graces just in case. Yet he remains the same narcissistic asshole he was before, not even a serious matter like this was enough to get him to humble up. I must confess, I can't think of any possible contexts where he would back off and stop riding on his ego. He expressed respect for Heilberg before, and he still fucked up his hearing within minutes, his ego still makes any respect he's got for others take a backseat. I'm honestly boggled!

I used to feel bad for chris but not anymore, tbh.
atfirst when the janke arch came to be I thought maybe given how tarded chris was maybe he was being lead on to say those things to stankey janke, especially but slowly the realization crept up on me if he went to jail, and they kept him in jail, then they must of found some evidence on barb during a rape test. Its kind of natural to question evidence that was produced by a pyschopathic animal abuser sex weirdo with a glowie daddy, but the fact is chris fucked his mom, he's in jail for fucking his mom, and thank fuck hes not in california where he could run the risk of being a further sex weirdo to female inmates.

I'll always feel at least a little bad for him deep down because he was kinda doomed from the start. Even if he never became the village idiot for the world wide web he'd still be the local sad sack, there's no version of Chris that didn't stumble through life doing badly.

to be honest, I thought the family is part of the reason why barb got raped;I can understand not wanting to be a caretaker to your crazy relative, but atleast around the whole synder arch if I was in a position as a family member, to barb and chris I probably would've put barb in a home atleast, I wouldn't take care of someone I hated personally, but I SURE as hell, would've literally put barb in a home the moment chris showed he cant make responsible decisions.

Chris is both victim and abuser. Chris is indeed a childish, gullible autistic adult but he's also a manipulative, abusive, entitled asshole. He didn't deserve to have someone trying to manipulate him into killing himself, but neither did Barb (as much as I have a hard time feeling sorry for her), Snyder and Megan, to name a few, deserve what he did to them. This doesn't change the fact that his life is a tragic one: his dreams will never realize themselves, in no small part due to his own feats and nature!
The one I feel the most for is Bob. He was a flawed man, but he still loved Chris dearly and tried his best, no matter how wrong his ways were. The wheels of this tragedy were put in motion way before he died, but as long as Bob lived he would act as the brakes to this train crash!
As long as Barb is part of the equation, Chris is fucked. A good deal of his worse traits, such as being a manipulative, narcissistic asshole, come from her influence. If Chris were humbler, he would probably find himself a wallflower and live a happy life. There's always going to be someone who is mean to the mentally handicapped, it takes patience to deal with them and their own peculiarities, but if Chris had a nicer, friendly personality and a better degree of self-sufficiency he would probably fare much better in life, even as the village idiot of Ruckersville!

Chris only backs down with his ego temporarily and only in situations that manage the impossible and actually make him realize humility is the only way out of it. Such as the old documented story where he got mad at Yugioh in the Game Place days and made some threat to his opponent. Said opponent then stood up out of his chair and was reportedly a big dude, to which Chris meekly corrected his threat to be game related by attacking a face down monster.

Like many have said he's opportunistic, I hope for the love of god that even if he gets off lightly it comes with a sex offender registry, for life. That way if he gets caught again they can put him back in for a good while.
The problem is while on one hand chris has gotten away with alot of shit legally using his tard card, and enabling of others, if va doesnt put him on some registry that is an injustice I feel like not alot of people would swallow. Chris should be in best case scenario put away in an institution where they can monitor him, however that option isn't feasible because of how much less there is then in the 60s/70s. so the next best option would be a sex offense registry, we all know chris will fuck up again, its in his nature, almost every 5 years something happens, so atleast theres a measure to put him away if he misbehaves, and diminish his oppurtunities to reoffend.
at this point chris is a sexual predator, while not a pedophile, if the opportunity of china presents itself regardless of the age of the victim I feel like chris will take it, because face it, he raped his own fucking mom.

True. Look at Chris' history of trespassing/loitering. Chris has been told not to do it; Chris ignores it, and gets detained. Chris has a history of shoplifting/kleptomania (more the latter than former). I don't know if Chris' parents found out he was stealing from them, but I doubt they would've done anything to stop him. After the incest, Chris stole from his mom via bank transfer.
