Had he been born 20 years later (2002), he would likely be left alone as weening is pretty much condemned in modern day except for certain circles
What do you guys think?
Parents are more internet-savvy now and better intervene with their kids, and kids in general are more savvy with internet social aspects. When Chris was young, plenty of people were on the internet, but the idea that "the internet is forever" hadn't set in and social media wasn't really a thing. So even among slow-in-the-minds, the culture around sharing personal info is different.
There are still lolcows though, and there will always be. Still, Chris was the first to reach that level of oversharing and spectacle, so ironically now that there are more lolcows, they can't be quite the center of attention that Chris was.
We *could* see another Chris though. It would just take the right combination of autism, oversharing, and degeneracy. They'd have to tickle the edge between creating a big enough spectacle without getting immediately put away on a felony (at least not until the end of their lolcow career).
So yeah, it's still possible, it's just the bar has been raised. You won't get famous for posting about how you drink your own semen anymore. A big chunk of people on the internet -- and especially the type that would take amusement from it -- are used to a certain level of degeneracy now.
