On the one hand, we really only have Chris' word for this, and he likely counted a few more than once. On the other hand, there are a lot of weens out there. I doubt the number is exactly 70 (Chris likes round numbers) but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more than 50.

We don't know how many letters Chris has sent out. It's likely a LOT more than the ones we've seen, and those are all in response to people who contacted him first. Likely the pile also contains unsolicited letters to Barb, maybe Tom and Harriet, possibly the president demanding a pardon (yes, I know that won't work, but Chris doesn't), Cole's last known address, Phoenix Wright (maybe?), and so on. Every two letters Chris sends (not receives) is another week's delay.

You know what with his current resedentail status being aptly described as "Funny Farm" I've been thinking about that whole thing with Chris and Bob saying they wanted to send him to some form of institution being more accurate than him getting sent to a special needs school than we have thought.

I still hold that Chris did Chimp out and they had to restrain him for his own safety and the had some form of recording but they wanted to send him someware more than just a school even if it's just a prolonged evaluation they knew it wasn't just Autisim going on and even as a kid he was more than just Autistic.
