Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I don't know why I'm just bringing this up now but I forgot about it and it's better late than never.

A couple of years ago a bought a plushie of Sailor Venus off of eBay. When the package got here, I noticed that it was sent from someone named Megan Schroeder who lived in Virginia. Given that Megan was/is a huge Sailor Moon fan, I immediately thought that this Megan was the Megan Schroeder; I even texted a friend who's knowledgeable in Christory about it and we freaked out.

I'm absolutely kicking myself for not saving the packaging, but it was before I joined Kiwi Farms and so I had no use for it. And in any case, I don't really want to post something that could definitely lead back to Megan after all the shit she's been through. I do still have the plushie though, which is really adorable.

I think Chris has given up. Given up on his attempt to better his life, find meaning in reality, and to do anything to steer his name away from being what the Internet makes him out to be.

Look at what's gone down in the past two months alone. The Exodus of Video making happened. Videos are back. All the "No's!" And ridicule made to weens asking if they may return mean nothing now. The Dark Ages of '10-'14 are finished.

Chris started a shop and made medallions and Amibos, but where are they right now? He has literally resorted to asking for money for a video with your name in it.

He knows he is making content for us. We hawk-eye his Facebook and everything with our all-seeing eyes. Nobody by trolls and weens keep track of him anymore. Us, who are here for the content, are given it at a blistering rate.

TL;DR: Chris has realized staying off the internet doesn't do him any good. he is still autistic and retarded, nobody in real life likes him, and we are the only ones who do. He was finally understood this and has returned to giving us what we want.

Well at least you have a story to tell your grandkids about!

I wonder if Chris has heard this and whether the mention of blue arms bothers him.
Love this!

He's probably just that weird smelly dude people occasionally notice staring lasciviously at the lingerie section of the local mall.

People notice him cuz he's a fucking weirdo, but they don't flock to kiwi farms to read the threads. They just move on with their life. He's an inconsequential tard living on the outskirts of their community.

I tell the story of his reemergence this way.

1) His house burns down.
2) He receives a bunch of money and gifts from Christorians.
3) He realizes that his fame can lead to a real bump in his income, and takes a few months figuring out exactly how to do it.

I have tried to figure out why he didn't realize it before, and the best I can come up with is this. While he always hoped/expected that money would come in from Sonichu, he kind of expected it to happen on its own. Someone would just reach out to him and offer him lots of money to do Sonichu stuff. He didn't picture it as a business he built himself from scratch. That and the fact that he seems to have embraced the continuum between trolls and fans a little more. But mostly that he just didn't think it through because he is an idiot.

Yea, I think Chris sort of thought he was sitting on a million dollar idea with Sonichu. He thought it was only a matter of time until Nintendo or Sega noticed it and made it huge. He liked the idea of being showered with praise and wealth for being its creator and having a company scramble to make the game of his dreams around it. You can tell Chris really thinks Sonichu is some genius idea when he tells new people about it, cuz he always describes it like its the coolest thing you never thought of yourself. He really has no idea that it sucks. He assumes all the trolling wasn't the inevitable reaction Sonichu should have gotten, but rather some cosmic mistake. He really thinks his character belongs next to Mario and other VG legends.

Why didn't he cash in on it earlier? I think he was just too lazy to produce stuff himself. He was a lot more financially stable before Bob died and the house burned down. Bob dying, The gameplace trial, the housefire and the gamestop incident probably accelerated his financial struggle. Money became more and more of an issue. After the fire half his toys were gone. Chris had to replace these things but how? Get a job? Exactly! Get a job selling Sonichu stuff, his million dollar idea. But this time he was more motivated to take on some of the heavy lifting. Don't get me wrong he still expects an adult to come by and do all the real work to make this a legit business, but in the meantime he's willing to kick the can down the road.

The irony is that he had to flail around and fail miserably for a while before he "succeeded". If he had popped up in 2006 trying to sell the crap he has sold the past year and a half, he would have had almost no takers. He had to make a fool of himself to make himself to get himself known. He also may have had to make a fool of himself with no profit motive nearby, or people may have just dismissed it as a publicity stunt.

In that light, he has done a hell of a lot of work for this.

Does Chris always watch American Rabbit? The CWCki seems to suggest it.
Always watch it? Like, regularly?

I don't think he watches it regularly. But I also don't think he watches anything he's known for regularly, like unless they're coming out with new episodes or anything. I think he watched it a bit as a kid and autistically hooked onto it.

The CWCki has a piece arguing that The American Rabbit had an influence on Chris... but that's about it.

...

Anyway, what was the longest gap between Chris releasing pages of his comic? (minus of course the past five years)
