Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

In some videos or other forms of media (chat logs and emails), often times Chris described being told off by his parents for being lazy. I wonder how much disappoint Borb put on Chris during his lifetime? I know Bob said he was ashamed of Chris during his graduation. And Barb mentioned that he was at fault for the finances. Chris being Chris, he drowned that out because it wasn't what he wanted to hear. I wonder what other putdowns they subjected Chris to ("you're a failure" "you're a reetard", etc.)?

Well you had the famous Kacey call where Barb bitched at Chris to do more chores and help her move some boxes. I always got the vibe from Chris' parents that he was constantly shit on and often by no means of his own effort. It was a toxic household. There are probably lots of family units out there where the dynamic goes from "You're amazing, you can do anything!" one minute to "You're useless and don't do as you're told" and the parents argue amongst each other about who is at blame for whatever is going on. Barb stopped cooking for the family one day because they said they didn't like her spaghetti, Bob upstaged Chris on his very first date, Bob yelling at Chris to go wake his mother up in the middle of the night, etc.

But then they guarded each other as well against perceived enemies and built each other up. It's a really weird relationship and it's one that I tend to give Chris a bit of a pass for messing him up psychologically. It probably invoked a sense of social and personal uncertainty on him.

I think Chris stopped being Chris when he "went Tomgirl" around the time of the big Snyder incident. "Classic Chris" was "the real CWC", and now he's very disturbed person who weens are trying to ween back into being "Classic Chris", which is probably not going to happen. "Classic Chris" was a '00s thing, and it's not '00s.

I agree. You can sometimes watch old Chris content and think "I wish this guy could catch a break". I don't get that vibe in the Tomgirl era. It's a mix of disgust and pity.

You could argue that we are in the unspeakable timeline where Chris committed the sin of incest. Only the worst part of it is no troll or ween convinced him to fuck his mom, he came up with that all on his own from years of their disturbing co-dependent relationship.

It's probably the worst of timelines for Chris. At least with death he may have found some dignity or at least fame.

Chob didn't dislike the spaghetti, they weren't hungry after moving upon Chris finishing high school. Barb refusing to cook after that may have messed Chris up a lot, seeing how fat he got soon after high school. Seemed to lead to the almost daily fast food.

The "crazy vibe" one gets from 14 BLC really intensified once Bob passed on. Especially with the Snyder incident and the spooning...

Chris' mind seems to have been decaying ever since he graduated from MHS. But after he "went Tomgirl" and especially after "Idea Guys" was when the decay got more severe.

Do we only have Chris’s word that the spaghetti thing happened and that Barb indeed never cooked again? I don’t really doubt it (we know how much fast food these people consume), I just wonder.
Without going into too much of a PL, I grew up with a mom who while not as batshit as Barb, shared a lot of her traits and in hindsight was clearly a textbook narcissist. Luckily I was like Cole and able to sever ties. I know quite a few people who had moms like Barb growing up. Chris lies and distorts the truth constantly, but I’m willing to believe him on this one.

I don't know, I think it is almost as likely that whether or not she threw a fit on that occasion, the lack of cooking was largely because she expanded the hoard into the kitchen to the point it couldn't be used.

According to Chris' story on the matter, Barb was the one who brought it up. https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Jackie_E-mails_24

I have actually shared how I felt with mom recently, and she listened. She also let off a few monkies off her back; speghetti dinner that was refused by dad and me the night of our final move back to Ruckersville. I couldn't help it if I did not feel like spaghetti that night; she gave up cooking for us after that for one.

However I do think indeed Chris is the only source.

That's totally a Barb thing for her to do. Don't like what she does? She'll threaten you with not providing it to you anymore.

Maybe it happened like this: Barb ragequit cooking for awhile, but by the time she would've been willing to cook again, the hoard made the kitchen unusable? Anyway it seems Chris just naively thinks that's a normal thing to do: quit cooking forever just because family isn't hungry after an exhausting moving day.

I bet Chris was happy about the outcome of getting more fast food.

I don't think the person who called themselves the Magical Man did either despite hanging out with Chris in person and even appearing in a video filmed in his room.

The Magical Man remains a mystery. It was his presence that made the Rollin & Trollin video believable (because "Holy shit! Chris has friends?!!").

Also cooking is work, and Barb is lazy like Chris. While Bob was maintaining two households, Barb was only cooking (buying Sheetz) for herself. She likely saw the spaghetti incident as an excuse to continue that.

When Chris is released, will weens still try to fuck with him after what happened to Janke? Will they have finally learnt their lesson that nothing good will come of it? Or will they try anyway?

I think Chris mentioned at some point that Emily/Kim knows who the Magical Man is, so he was either a friend of hers or one of the old miscreants group that happened to live nearby as well. Rollin and Trollin was staged after all (Chris is not smart enough to come up with this idea on his own) so they probably included Magical Man into the video for precisely this reason.

I doubt anyone was thinking that far into things. I think he was in Rollin & Trollin simply because Chris could not have accomplished the video by himself. He later appeared in a few other Chris videos that also would not have been possible without help.

It's possible Rollin & Trollin was actually an attempt by Kim et al. to reduce the internet's fascination with Chris by making him look like, well, not Chris. But then Chris had to fuck that up. This would have been before Kim gave up on improving Chris.
