By the time the idea guys came around Barb was already on her way to becoming a complete husk. Honestly I wouldnt be surprised if her alleged dementia started sometime after the house fire, I know we joke about her getting mad at the supposed stolen painting by the firefighters, but for all we know that could have been the first sign. That and her essentially lifeless face during that time. I however dont think if she was compos mentis that should have changed her ways (honestly she would have gotten way more blatant with her ways as the years go by).

Oh no, the Barb "paranoia" has been there for a long time, she led Chris to think Snyder paid the police to have the scuffle with the Chandlers leading to the felony arrests, the shit that falls out of that loony cunts brain is astonishing, I think she even convinced Chris the neighbor bred a snake to slip into the Chandler residence. Barb has been a paranoid manipulative cunt for decades, not to mention a general hoe based on some accounts.

I think it's underappreciated how much of a miserable cunt Barb was on a daily basis outside the Chandler house, and led her to concoct these grand conspiracy theories around how it wasn't her fault.

The one story I recall Chris telling about a time they went out for a family meal in one of the Jackie emails:
Beforehand, she had a bought with the bitchy server/owner of Riley's, Riley herself. Mom had a quarter of a chicken sandwich from McD; she brought it in with her. She had also got her tea at Riley's before this bout. Mom pulls out the quarter sandwich; Riley is all, "you can't eat food from another place here". There's no sign stating that anywhere there. So, mom ignored her and ate the q-sand in front of her. Riley asked her to leave. Mom wanted her tea too, and she had a big reusable plastic cup in the Mitsu. So she takes the cup of tea out to the car and fills Her cup with the tea. She then returned the restaurant's cup to the table dad was still sitting at. Riley bitched some more at mom about taking their cheap plastic glass outside. So, to come back for dad later, she leaves for the nearby Goodwill. Here is where I came in with the last call, as well as the following where I requested help stranded by the dumpster.

After reading more about Barb, I can see how out of control Chris' ego got.
Bob tried his best to raise Chris but obviously didn't have a clue on how to, but he wanted him to be functioning and contributing member of society.
Barb on the other hand, from what I can tell, is as lazy and spoiled as Chris.

I really don't like Chris at all for not just fucking his mom but how he takes other peoples kindness, like Null's and The Captain's and anyone who genuinely wanted to point him in the right direction, and abuses it. He's a selfish piece of shit, I hope he lives under a bridge and tricks under Stephanie Bustcakes again like the whore he is.

Barb didn't raise anything and she still has nothing to show for it but a garbage hoard to call a home.

I don’t disagree with your point, but I wouldn’t call that behavior “bitchy” I’d call it being literally retarded. If Chris did that exact same thing we’d attribute it to autism or some similar social problem but not when Barb does it.

There are more detailed ones of various political figures out there, especially from the period of 1700 to about 1900 when it was common to keep really detailed written records yourself, nominally not as detailed as the two above but of what they where doing and what they where thinking sadly a lot of them still havent been digitised just the ones of major political or intellectual thinkers, but the others where likely more informative.

It shows that Barb was definitely the source of a lot of Chris's tism because only a total autist doesn't realize there isn't a restaurant on the planet that is okay with you coming into their business and take up a table and then eat food from somewhere else instead. Only a complete cunt would even try to do that.

Yeah, I’m really starting to believe strongly that both Bob and Barb weren’t right in the head. Bob held a respectable job but didn’t seem to ever push back against Chris’s wildest delusions and often contributed as far as we know, (like the Greene County conspiracy, shitting constant on Chris when chaperoning his date, and the god-given bear name. Did they legally change his name or was Christian always a nickname?). I’m not an obsessive about the cwcki but I can’t think of a known Barb interaction that wouldn’t support her having real social problems

Honestly, Barb has me thinking a lot about how often insane public behavior by women, particularly middle aged women, is attributed to just womanly nature and not some sort of illness. How many “typical Karen” moments seem like they’re literal autistic meltdowns? That doesn’t give them a free pass and they’re responsible for dealing with their own shit but it’s weird that we collectively don’t look at their behavior as evidence that their brains are actually broken. Flipping your shit when things don’t go exactly your way is extremely abnormal for an adult regardless of your gender but when women do it we call it “entitlement”. If I man went to a restaurant and screamed “reeeee” for the manager because they were out of nuggets, we’d call them autistic. I wonder what percentage of “Karens” are undiagnosed autists
