Nah don't worry it was mainly a joke that the only thing he used his CAD for was a massive Mayor's office and shopping mall. He claimed it also helped him design maps for Cwcville but the maps aren't to scale nor were they made using CAD so who the hell knows.
You'd think for as much time as Chris has used a computer (mostly for internet use and building his atrocious webpage), yet Bob never installed CAD software for Chris to use. Going back to when Bob had mentioned due to Chris' 'tism, Chris was able to 'master' the commadore system, which ended up being a lie to boost Chris' confidence. I think Bob thought "Well, my son isn't interested after spending 5 years getting this degree. Time to get you on SSDI."

I think Chris made the floorplans for his mall and office because they're not competently made. He seemed to have figured out that it's easier to make things in his CAD software if he sticks to walls of multiples of a certain length, so he stuck with multiples of 6 feet for the mayor's office and 12 feet for the mall, but still messed it up in a few places. For example, one of the sides of his JCPenny (sic) is 216'7.5" which is only slightly off from that multiple of 12, indicating that he tried to make it 216 feet but messed it up with his mouse and then couldn't figure out how to fix it and still make other things connect.
I'm somewhat convinced but I will say if it is a lie, it's one of his more believable ones because he still wasn't able to use his "super perfect character sheet", plus there was a decent bit of details (specific on where the campaign was from, said he took the place of an NPC). Really it's hard to say because he was never pressed for details on it, all we have to go on is one tweet. I will say it's strange that he just found a group seemingly out of nowhere, but that could be explained by a local friend who either knew a group or was in a group (remember it's been established Chris has some friends). Main thing is it's not an obvious lie where he was able to use his stupid OP character with a bunch of boyfriend free girls interested in hearing about the Merge.

Back then Bob would show off how Chris was able to start up a game by inserting a floppy disc and he'd probably tell people about how Chris had been nonverbal but he had made this much progress. Computer illiterate people would praise them both for this. People would own a VCR for years with it flashing 12:00 the whole time because setting the time was too complicated for them. Really I'd expect someone who had mastered the Commodore 64 to be writing their own programs and doing creative stuff like that.

Bob died in early September 2011 and the Snyder incident was mid to late October, meaning Bob's inheritance lasted Barb and Chris less than two months* before being pissed away on an expensive lawyer and settlements.

Unfortunately he chose the wrong major anyways, so what if he instead recognized that Chris could've gone somewhere with Sonichu and switched him to an art or even writing class?
Bob Chandler doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who didn't have a life insurance policy. In fact considering his age, they were quite popular. Even just a few post back someone was discussing the discrepancies with Chris/Barb debt and how Chris was more than likely just crying for more play money.
It wasn't always Chris just wanting to buy more toys however, there were times when the Chandlers (mainly Barb) got themselves into financial troubles because of the mortgage or heating bills or whatever, and Chris genuinely did need to beg for money to keep the house. Make no mistake Chris and Barb were pretty consistently teetering on the edge of financial ruin, it's just that Chris is a greedy bastard who learned he could buy toys and keep the house by pestering the internet.
I would imagine that he sees his current predicament not too far off of the last week of Jesus mortal ministry. Chris in the flesh is limited but Chris in his make believe world is all powerful. He seems to ignore and avoid his shortcoming . . . unless pleading for sympathy from girls.

i dont think he would care. he treats classic era trolls as something that he fell for because he was a naive child (he was in his late 20s) and by his 30s he finally started to understand that this era of trolls were just bored kids fucking with him for lulz. ironically the people that fuck with him now are fully grown adults with mental issues on par with chris's own.
