Not just that, but CWC is mind-shittingly boring on his own. Without some outside force driving him into uncomfortable territory, he'd just talk about passing the latest level of his video game, or complain about how hard it is, carrying the heavy plastic bags to the car, and how the handles sliced into his hands like a +5 enchanted scalpel of autistic bullying.

I think @Marvin has talked about this - there's a real art and balance, between letting Chris be Chris, but also driving CWC into uncomfortable territory. I'd imagine it's more art, than science. Obviously, Kacey wasn't the best at this. In retrospect, @Alec Benson Leary was a fucking master- nudging the hamster ball just enough to get that shit rolling again, but never kicking the ball down the stairs, you know? He'd just wake the hamster up, then stand back and watch the ball roll into sewer. First rate straight man.

Kacey wasn't. She wasn't a performer like Liquid, and she wasn't a good straight man like ABL. So, getting angry with Chris, was literally, the only natural place for her character to go. And if she didn't get angry? Well then the Kacey calls end around #5, because they're totally fucking boring. Or, they're really cringey, because she's not a good actress, and she's trying to do material that's way outside of her reach. (that said, Kacey calls 1-1.5 really crack me up- her ridiculous enthusiasm wins me over, every time)

So yeah, ABL could get the ball rolling with a whisper, and Kacey needed an air-horn, which could be a little annoying, granted. But it's not because she was a me-me, angry bitch IMO. It strikes me, she did the best she could do, under the circumstances.

On to the subject at hand, Kacey was alright, but her "dad" was the true star of the show :)

Her and liquid were going on right when I was giving the metaphorical birth to asperchu, so I wasn't too familiar with things at the time. But my understanding is that kasey had been part of the community for a long time, and when liquid joined the scene she hooked onto him and they went from there.

Older vets like Marvin could probably give more detail.

This is correct. Liquid did the Chris parody videos mostly for fun, but then someone emailed them to Chris and he saw them and flipped out. Some PVCC folks reached out to Liquid and got him on PVCC. From there, the idea was pitched that Liquid would get a heartsweet (to piss Chris off), and Kacey had been flirting with/sucking up to Liquid so she got the part. She was a PVCC mod and pretty regular poster there (and active in #sonichu as well) up until the drama.

She was fine if you were just talking about random stuff, but the conversation would always end up getting back to her and become about her again. She was honestly not that different than the Casey persona. She would always talk about what great shape she was in (she was not), how hot she was (she was not) and how big her boobs were (she was fat).

You know, I have to give credit to Catherine here. I think it was much more warranted for Catherine to berate Chris over his outburst towards Colin, at least compared to Kacey yelling at Chris on the phone constantly over not running five miles everyday (whilst being a rotund person herself).

That's the thing; a bunch of the Kacey calls are completely unlistenable due to her berating Chris over his health. Like, when he said he was on Lipitor, that was important, but yelling at him for drinking the wrong temperature water? I know it's a joke, but Chris barely had reaction. That's not to say that there were some funny moments, like when Chris compared Kacey to a cow (some Pokemon or something) or when Kacey accused Chris of being a pedophile.

TBH, Kacey was annoying, but some of the calls were great (especially at the end). She sometimes gets overhated.

Don't forget how offended she got when I came onto the scene, because she had decided she was supposed to be the "end" of Chris-trolling and how dare someone else try to take the spotlight off her grand finale.

She sent me a pissy message when I first joined PVCC to bitch about it. It was my first correspondence with her, and in fact I had no idea what she was going on about because I was not previously a part of the community and had no idea what any of the local drama or politics were.

Miss Fuckypillow meets the need on a slight level, but the real thing will always be a priority for him (even if his method of obtaining it is 'wait for it to come to him'). The thing I find distressing though is that he doesn't seem to 'get' that people (well, sane people) have waifus ironically. Saying "Laura Croft is my waifu" for instance really just means "I find Laura Croft to be incredibly hot". He tells people to 'cuddle up to their waifus too if they have them'.

Has anyone considered that the reason Cera baked Kevin the Jew a plain vanilla candle cookie was because Chris had it in his head that "Jews have to eat certain special foods" and mistakenly translated that into food allergy instead of keeping kosher?
Or is it just funnier to accuse Chris of thinking all Jews have food allergies, hence why that's the explanation on the CWCki?
