Do you think Chris is ever gonna look in the mirror, see no hair above his ears, and finally realize: he is male, he isn't immortal, he's aging and he wasted his life?
There isn't a single human being in history that has a longer track record of not learning from their mistakes. Why would he change that now?

If he went bald, he'd see in the mirror a constant reminder that he is aging, and when no amount of meditation or crystals can change it, he'll realize he has no power to reverse it or make it stop

My man has literally gaslighted himself into believing he is Jesus Christ. Accepting that he doesn't have power is exactly what I don't ever expect him to do.

I still think Chris’s parents forcing his gal pals to be his friends is the single worst thing they could have done. Considering how Chris’s mind is frozen in the year 2000 to this day because of how happy and idyllic it was for him to be around girls that would objectively never be friends with someone like him had they not been coerced to.

He’s spent every year since focused on this aspect of his life when it was revealed to have been false anyway, If he had been forced to fend for himself and really tried to put aside his interests and force himself to interact with people he had a better shot at he’d possible have learned the value of making friends with people and had better stress management skills.

Or not who knows, but it definitely would have stopped some of the nostalgia and encouraged him to have pushed forward if he’d not been made to feel ‘special’ for having autism and been made to fend for himself and feel what it’s like to be a normal kid.

I think Barb might have actually died...

Anyone can contribute on findagrave. Until the house is sold or a ween asks Chris directly I don't think we will ever find out through public sources. The only people who could potentially want an obituary or a funeral are Barb's siblings and even that is unlikely but in the small chance they do they would keep it secret out of fear of weens trying to take pictures of Barb's casket.

Would Chris be told by the care workers? Or would someone outside the system have to notify him?
He is not going to stay there forever and will eventually have to try living on his own. I think at this point Chris is a complete outsider and he will find out the same time everyone else does. The exception would be if Chris is set to inherit anything in which case he will have to be legally notified that she passed. Only way this could happen is if Barb had a will set up prior to her being diagnosed with dementia. Any restraining order ends once Barb is dead.

He'd be on his local news being interviewed for a story involving making the Guinness book of world records for the largest purchase of legos by one person.
Or he would be conned out of it by various idea guys like figures claiming to be his imaginary friends, MLP voice actresses and at least one boyfriend free girl.

Reactions: Dambusters' Dog II
Wouldn’t that be a felony and would probably end in that person getting arrested
well yes. But I am sure there is a ween or two that would try it.

Chris would certainly fall for such things for at least a while.

a billion is a lot harder for a pleb to hide than 6k.

True, but even dumb con artists know to start small.
The boyfriend free girl could tell Chris she expects nice presents for instance, like new cars, houses etc.
