Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

You have some of the biggest dummies in Slytherin.

It's about ambition, too, and to do whatever it takes to get in the good graces of others without getting hurt yourself.
Hell even hufflepuff, the house founded to take in students who don't match any of the other three qualities. Bravery, ambition, and academia. Would struggle taking Chris in. According to jk, hufflepuffs are good at a lot of things but don't go bragging about it.
Yeah, he seems to think he is something other than a fat, balding, middle aged man.
Honestly where approaching the stage where words and concepts like "passing." And "effort" will be given the t phobic label. Troons are already pushing to where they no longer want to need surgery or treatments to be considered women. Some of them are doing it because they KNOW hormones and surgery Zap their libido and they aren't actually gender dysphoric. They just wanna be able to keep jerking off to loli Yuri in wigs and dresses. Others are doing it claiming surgery and treatments are too expensive and goverment funded ones don't make them happy because....well it's goverment money. A grs/srs surgeon will only do so much for a Medicare payment.

I'm honestly surprised aside during the barb fucking, Chris hasn't stopped taking his titty skittles..he was already ahead of the troon curve a decade ago when he demanding people take him seriously as a "tomgirl" despite looking even uglier when it was just cheap makeup, secondhand women's clothing, and maybe some ostrogel spread on his gunt.

She and Michael Snyder. Its genuinely impressive how patient he remained despite everything Chris put him through, including getting hit by a car.
There are only four people in all of Christory who came out of it morally clean: Mary Lee Walsh, Michael Snyder, Rocky Shoemaker, and David Heilberg. On one hand, they stand as proof that there are still good people in the world. On the other hand, they're examples of the bullshit those good people have to put up with.

I am kind of torn on Rocky. She was clearly unqualified to deal with the issues that Chris had and should've told him that he needs professional help and not the help of a church shrink (although to be fair she did that in 2018 with the Idea Guy shit), but she did try and help him.

Rocky may have been more or less morally clean but she was definitely an idiot, being far too indulgent of Chris, commandeering the police meeting over Josh Martinez's scamming with demands for the cops to go after the trolls, and then completely falling for the troll call and revealing far too much personal information about the family to a total stranger.

Yeah she looks old in the photos we have of her and I wouldn't be surprised to find out she had never used a computer as she doesn't seem to know how computers or the internet works and she thinks making fun of someone on the internet is a crime the police would be able to do anything about. The fact she didn't even seem to understand that some of the trolls lived outside the US and thus the cops could never do anything about it really says it all about why she was the wrong person to handle Chris.

Yep. For the most part, the trolls from that era never did anything illegal. There was a few hacking of his emails and video game console accounts and such, but the police aren't going to do jack shit about some rando getting their email hacked.

She probably believed what Bob did, that this was a bunch of locals ganging up to bully Chris. I don't think he ever really got the worldwide scope of interest in Chris, and probably conveyed that to Rocky.

Was trying to find some shitpost pic I made ages ago and stumbled accross this

Nothing particularly ground breaking but it made me feel a lil deader inside

I've never seen a thing like it, honestly it was surreal looking back - there where toy crazes before hand like Bruce Light Year, Aladin etc but the way Pokemon hit the market and honestly nothing has been like that since.

Barbie has always had the little girls being magnetically attracted to anything cute an pink going for it, Jurassic Park had Dinosaurs going for it and Star Wars was a year or two away and even then that wasn't as popular as Pokemon. I can recall news storys of kids going to see the first film 8 or 9 times - not even Harry Potter was that popular on release.

Honestly I'd love to read a research paper into it's popularity at the time, Historically and ethnographically it was a phenomena we have yet to see again.
It's a little difficult finding articles describing just how big the phenomena was. At least from a kid's point of view.

Just a thought is Chris able to claim compensation for his incarnation on grounds he did not got fully to court or was part of his conditions of being relised on grounds of being a simpleton a forfeit to any compensation.

Pokémon was big, yes. Phalanges Mycologist says people didn't watch Harry Potter multiple times but I disagree with him. They might not have gone to the theater multiple times, but the fans bought DVDs and I'm pretty sure a lot of them watched those multiple times.

It took me some digging, but I found a post I remembered from my early time on Reddit, 12 years ago. This IAmA is from a woman who claims to have read the entire series ten times. Only a few replies were made, I was hoping for more. She has not posted on Reddit in five years, but gave birth to a child eight years ago. I wonder if she's shared the books with her kid.

You forgot Adam Stackhouse. Remember he was just a kid entering a contest Chris felt entitled to win because it would allow him to woo Megan in Seattle (which was the grand prize) only Chris entered with a crappy low quality video of himself singing the easiest song to remember from parappa the rapper, altered to be a sob story about his life. (Because of course it's always gotta be about him) which not only looked like shit thanks to crappy pseye effects (birthday boy!) but broke the contest rules.

Adam conversely entered with a video that was on par with HD quality for the time, remixed the song perfectly with sound effects and even got hos family in on the action with multiple camera cuts to them singing backup.

He dealt with the 'fame' that Chris gave him fairly well too as I recall. Didn't get mad, was more bemused then anything else. Didn't he make a post on the Farms or 4chan or something about Chris and his flip-out response to losing? The CWCki seems to be down so I can't check it.

What do you think is Chris's actual sexuality?
I do think Chris is actually bisexual, albeit more attracted to women than to men. He did have an aversion to men for a long while, most likely because of the sketchy shit that happened with the principal (and whatever inspired the JenkinsJinkies story), which probably overrode any attraction he had. I think at this point though, he's literally just too mentally unwell for that aversion to continue, so now he's able to feel attracted to men.

Aside from that he seems to have very few aversions in terms of sex if Barb, Jessica Quinn, Sonichu 8, and saying he'd fuck a Corgi are anything to go by. It does seem like foot fetishes (Sockness) and vore fetishes (that one art contest entry) are a turn-off for him, at least.

In terms of his own kinks, the most commonly recurring themes are glasses, belly dancing, sex toys, and humiliation. Oh, and mothering, of course.
