Chief example being how he blames Bella for the whole incest situation when it's obvious he himself still doesn't see the problem with it that everybody else does (to the point of inventing an alternate dimension that some other version of him fucks that version's mother, simply so he could try to shift blame onto a non-existent dimensional clone of himself).
Because Chris does not have empathy - he claims he does but his condition quite literally prevents him from having it. As such, he is also a bit of a sociopath in that manner because he will gleefully just forget about awful shit he does, then when he remembers/is reminded about this stuff, he just writes it off as having been in the past and no longer a big deal (unless it's a personal slight, he's very hypocritical). And if shit no longer is a big deal to him, then he thinks others will be thinking the same thing and he'll make false outreaches of olive branches. to 'let bygones be bygones'.

No, it wasn't the contest - it was a major factor, but his entire life he'd been coddled and spoiled by his parents due to his condition. This, plus his lack of Theory of Mind, has always made him feel like he is the single most important person in the world and by birthright he's better and more deserving than anybody else.
I'll be honest, hearing the insane "logic" Chris uses to explain why he screwed up on purpose is my favorite type of Chris Chan content. It never fails to make me laugh.
