Yeah iirc the story is about a human who got isekai'd to a pokemon world in the body of a pokemon, that's right up to Chris' alley. I guess he didn't play them much since they're harder games than the main series ones. They don't hold you hand much, don't let you cheese by overlevelling and things get difficult if you only want to use your favourite pokemons.

Regardless, do you find the online silence reassuring or it makes you feel uneasy regard chris himself?

I don't think Chris appreciates that he's famous for reasons he doesn't want associated with him.

He absolutely loathes why people know him and forever denies any wrongdoing. This man has never taken any accountability other than once admitting that he can't do a pull-up.

Is there any correlation between CWC technically being first to do a "let's play" and the later success of that genre? I don't deny that he has had an impact on the internet in some specific ways, just not this specifically. I might be missing the overall connection I suppose.

I just always looked at his "let's play" videos as kind of an ironic twist because he technically did do it first and he could have been good at it, but instead he pursued much more ridiculous things.

I agree, his lets plays are definitely interesting. although im not too good at tolerating his voice

IIRC he did actually try doing lets plays on his own years back, but it was trying to beat one of the Uncharted games, needed some rando in multiplayer to actually get him through a level, and at the end he outright demands that people give him $5 for recording himself playing a video game.

Chris is a fucking coward and he wouldn’t do shit. Megan would probably cut off the inappropriate touching real quick, and if she was smart, would’ve made a scene in public that would more than likely cause some nerdy white knights to intervene.

One of the things that made the barbussy saga so shocking is because it’s one of the few times Chris actually acted on one of his urges in a concrete way. There were decades of impotent rage and sexual frustration leading up to the barbussy

You have to keep in mind that Chris is just the same as any other 'tism riddled incel. Personally, I think he missed Patti as much as he did because he was fooling around with her, you put a chimp in a room with nothing but a coconut and it'll try to hump it after awhile.

Can someone explain to me why Chris spent thousands of his parents' dollars and five years of his life going to college?
I mean, it is clear Chris never intended to use his degree to get a job and he seems to have known that going in, so what was the point?
He never tried in college, just like he never tried in high school so why didn't he just stay home and play video games all day like he did before and after college?

Why did his parents fund something as useless as college for Chris?

I remember watching one of those, where Chris's "strategy" was do the exact same thing after he died, just by making tiny little changes, or hide just a little better. It was pretty exhausting watching him play.

It also showed that Chris is literally not good at anything he's into. He just steamrolls through games, or outright just doesn't play them. Same with his card games, zero strategy.

If I am remembering correctly, Bob made him do it thinking he'd be able to get a job. Obviously Bob was wrong
