There are two main reasons. First, Chris is afraid of change. Second, G5 happening when it did directly contradicts Chris's claims that he's a psychic. Due to C-197 theory meaning that all cartoons and such are basically documentaries, Chris believes Hasbro is falsifying the facts because the five seasons he imagined happening...never actually happened in the cartoon. Of course, as Chris was delusional, this means that, since they didn't happen, he wasn't really a psychic and just wishes for a slim chance that he will actually be correct. Chris actually wants a G5 and a G6, but remade from scratch and only after season 24 of G4 airs.

This is likely because if they become Alicorns it means they gain a dramatically longer lifespan but if they never become one it‘d imply that by the time of the new series all but one of the the main cast of ponies from the previous generation are now dead.

Chris had also previously complained about an episode set in the future called The Last Problem which shows that all but one of the previous main cast of ponies have now significantly and visibly aged.

Probably, to be honest.

If you take any trait that the vast majority of the population views in a negative light, you'll find a small percent of people who fetishize it. Chris is like a living amalgamation of everything that a healthy, well-adjusted adult would find unappealing, but if even a fraction of a percent of people get off on something, then being exposed to a lot of people online means you'll inevitably have a small community who fantasize about fucking you. Most of them are never going to act on it, but it wouldn't surprise me if at least one or two unknown people have tried to get in contact with Chris with the sincere intention of having a sexual relationship, or at least a one-night stand, with history's best known lolcow.
