Imagine his high school days, only this time, no one needs to hang out with him and teachers don't need to cut him a break. Combine that with the foundation of his "loiter in a shopping center, fiddle with my handheld whatevers, drink a shittonna pop, and pray a bombshell blows and/or marries me on the spot" mindset and that paints the first of many depressing pictures.

Much like today, episodes like the English class ban and the Walsh assault were exceptions to his otherwise dull life. Lacking either the tempest of his parents' legal struggles with the school district or the invasion of the trolls, he really didn't have anything to grab his attention other than turning his makeshift Sonichu franchise into a windfall. (And even then, it took nearly four years following Sonichu's "conception" to make Sonichu 0, so that's also suspect.) And college, it seems, never ranked in his Saturday morning cartoon-understanding of the world or in his media.

Yeah, what Henry Bemis said. It was high school, except with less social interaction. His life during community college was the same as his life after community college, except he got more social interaction in community college, by just being around people who weren't his mommy on a daily basis.

Community college for Chris was much like high school minus the girls paid to tolerate him. The noteworthy events he's complained about. The autism hating English teacher. The CAD teacher who gave him a bad grade for being autistic, and the dean trying to crush his soul and end the lovequest. Other than that he just puttered to classes and went to the mall afterwards to loiter.

it took him 5 years to earn a 2 year degree, he must have failed some classes, not gone full time, or had to take a bunch of remedial classes

The Love Quest didn't really start until 2003. Chris graduated high school in spring of 2000. That means he could have been going to PVCC for up to three years without even the intent to find a girl. He just went to class, slept, played his vidya, and went home. His first years were even less ambitious than we give him credit for.

Not only because people naturally tend t branch out into the world after high schol, but also because he didn't care enough to keep up with changes of address and things like that.

I thought I read somewhere that he at least maintained some sort of contact with Tiffany for a year or so after graduation. It probably wasn't much more than seeing each other on occasions while out or whatever, but that's about as close to "contact" as Chris was going to get with most of them.

As for non-gal pals, a couple of MHS people could have gone to PVCC for their gen. ed. before going to university. Just some thoughts as to why Chris would have waited three years after his graduation before starting the "Love Quest".
