Been digging through the DVD slideshow images that got released back in October, there's some interesting stuff here. We have a higher resolution of the photo of Chris and Barb together that I had posted awhile back:

We also have a full image of Lucas White, who can be also be seen in the famous Daniel Mimms photo:

The filename also matches the one used for the custom FMA pony Chris made, confirming it was made for Lucas just like the one for Mimms:

The orange pony has a cutie mark that matches the Hidden Leaf Village from Naruto. I don't know much about that show, I just once asked a teenager why they were wearing a metal thing on their head with that symbol. The orange color with blue boots and collar also matches Naruto's outfit, though I don't know about the blue hairdo. Could be referencing the above photo with the green afro though. Maybe he had a blue one at some point, or Chris only had a blue one.

Yeah, the Mimms pony was based off of Naruto. I presume he was a fan of the anime since Chris has never really talked about or borrowed/stole from it. Ditto for Fullmetal Alchemist and Lucas. It seems like almost all of the early custom ponies that Chris made were based on people he knew at the Game Place, the exceptions being Anna and her coworker/friend.

Guys, I miss Classic CWC™. I want to watch some of his best videos from the days when he was actually entertaining. Is there a good compilation out there on YouTube? Or maybe a playlist of favorite archived videos?

The documentaries are fine, but I'm not really looking for commentary -- just straight-up Chris.

Recommendations?

The first house tour Chris did is great to watch first if you follow up with the aftermath video where Bob yells at Chris.

Sure, a time machine

There's this extensive playlist Geno Samuel put together. The video message to the dudes of all teenages is #33, there's some Parappa era stuff, and then #37 is his first video addressing the ED trolls. I'd start in there, personally.

It's that time of the year again.

Merry Chris(t)mas to all, and to all a TRUE and HONEST night.
Snow globe with  :medallion:in it for Mom.

Oh...great. Truly amazing.

And it he wouldn't even let his poor father have the DVD of Fraggle Rock when it was clear he wanted that first.

Beautiful.

Don't forget the Decepticons!

Hamsta...broken. oh God. He truly didn't care about anyone but himself!

That video always confused and saddened me.

Even if he wanted to keep the DVDs for himself, why did Chris have to buy two copies of Fraggle Rock in different formats? Why buy the VHS at all and not use that money for something else? Why not buy his mother something different when the last figurine or whatever on the shelf was broken?

Also, Chris is twenty-two years old in that video. Let that sink in.

At 22, I'm definitely getting things that I think my parents would like or at least find useful.

Why would you give someone, especially people that you love, something that's about you or that's not working or broken?

I usually don't even get cards for people that I don't think are meaningful or just the first thing that's available. Maybe that's not universal but there should be some thought put into the other person you're getting something for.

Especially if they're polite enough to tell you what they would like.

Chris might have thought that he was putting some thought into what his parents might like but his attempts are comparable to a 5-year-old and even then the five-year-old would probably feel bad if what they gave their parents was broken.

That's how I see it, and that's what makes me sad when I think about the situation.

A 5-year-old might struggle to put himself into someone else's shoes when selecting a gift. He'd think: "I like Fraggle Rock and would want to receive that as a gift, so my dad would like it, too." It's almost sweet in a way. But Chris was a grown-ass man at the time, expected to behave like an adult when his mind never developed beyond that of a child.

Anyway, Merry Christmas, Kiwis. I hope you have a day that is exponentially better than the one Bob had in that video. 🎄

But Chris was a grown-ass man at the time, expected to behave like an adult when his mind never developed beyond that of a child.
And I'm sure this was one of the times when Bob became painfully aware this kid is just old-school retarded. He may have been able to deal with it most of the time, but occasionally it had to come and smack him right in the face. He may not have been a great guy, but I wouldn't want anyone to face old age with a retarded adult child and a crazy narcissistic wife. Nobody fucking deserves that.

Honest question - is it even worth it to try to get back into watching Chris-chan?

I'm of the honest opinion that most of what was good died with Bob, as after it literaly became a permament begging saga and it all became mostly about money, baring some adventures of course.

What about now? Are we past the twilight years? Is anything going on now or has there been that is worth catching up on?
No.

Chris Chan is just a prop and lapdog for Caden at this point. Anything Chris puts out there is what Caden wants him to put out, and it's mostly for the sole purpose of enticing people to give him money.

Additionally, watching Chris do his videos with that "I don't enjoy life anymore, please end my misery" look on his face is depressing. When you have the idea of Chris being in an inescapable, exploitative situation of his own design in your mind, it makes the whole concept unenjoyable.

The moment he fucked Barb is the peak of his story which was always defined by trolls manipulating him, his ill-informed desire to find a woman based on masculinity stereotypes and the ever so crazy shit that he did cause of that. He had some understanding that incest is immoral and definitely career ending, he just didn't realize that until he did it thinking it would be just another new chapter in Christory.

What else is there anyway? The CWCki already details in extensive detail the attracting portion of his story and the lore related to that. It may not have been as fun as say... watching it happen in real time but if you ever wanted to at least go down the Chris hole, there it is. It's not like watching Caden is going to scratch that itch.

Anything Chris Chan does after the prison saga might as well be Caden. I would not give any form of support to Caden, anything after the prison saga is non canon in my eyes and anybody who is giving Caden money is just further justifying his behavior and actions.

Trolls were mostly just abstract content creators anyways.

Then you've got sinister people like the Idea Guys and Caden who's duller than dirt.

I don't know if this has been asked but I am curious so... If Chris was born female and you happened to be her boyfriend, how would you talk to or help her with her problems?

The problems are exactly the same as IRL Chris, just wanted to add.

Chris' whole thing was always how he couldn't find a girlfriend, so the question is moot because this hypothetical female Chris would spend her days whining about how impossible it is to find a "girlfriend-free boy".

And why would it be the boyfriend's job to fix her problems anyway? People don't want broken slow-in-the-minds as romantic partners. This female Chris would need to look inward to improve herself first -- then worry about finding a boy (which I guess would have been the same advice I would have given to regular Chris -- drop the "Love Quest" and work on yourself first).
