@Marvin, if you were to ask Chris to define Autism, how would he describe it? I ask, because I get the impression that even though he knows he has it, he can't articulate just what it is.

I had a thought that maybe Sonic Boom blue arms is a sign of Sonic being older (IE, more blue body hair), and Chris subconsciously sensed this, and this is why he reacted, he sees keeping Sonic's arms bare as a way of keeping himself a child, a substitute for his adulthood.

He would rattle off bullet points he read on wikipedia, and then proceed to explain how all the most damning points don't really apply to him, or how he's grown as a person and he got over those particular symptoms.

Edit: Like how he has been babbling about empathy for the past year or so.

According to Chris he has cured his autism using binaural beats videos on youtube. Though the very fact he believes this would suggest otherwise.

I thought it was more a "tutorial", which in itself was a complete waste of time since Chris quickly switches direction to himself immediately during it.

I think shamans are more people who are skitzo, hear gods voice or something. Chris would probably stack stones and talk to hedgehogs. Maybe ADF could have used his obsessions for maps in the past more successfull.

I have caught myself having a strange obsession about him, someone here at the forum said it is like watching a train wreck in slow motion and that's exactly it. My feelings go from pity to the point of trying to find someone in Virginia to beat the hell out of him. I am not sure if I am normal or not.

He's gotten worn down over time and stopped caring about grudges before.

Chris' life is not very tumultuous. He's spent his adult life doing the same thing for years at a time, before moving onto something else to do for years at a time. He's not climbing the corporate ladder or anything like that.

Plus he lives in a small town. Things are pretty quiet out there.

So interactions with people tend to stick with him.
