Why did Chris abandon every (notable) thing that made him the best lolcow? (Like Sonichu)

If I understand correctly, he doesn't want to be identifiable to "the trolls", and the "trolls drained him" on Sonichu, which is why he doesn't do it anymore. However, Sonichu kind of lives on in his plastic block creations, where his "minifig" still wears a medallion. I'm guessing that if it weren't for the trolling, he'd probably still be wearing it to this day.
