I thought Chris refused to let Harry Partridge do the series because although he liked the animation, Chris wanted an anime style from Harry.

These were added by a user named The Ultra X-ray, who claims to know Sarah. I find these info spurious as I did my own research on her, searching both the supposed real name and the name we are all familiar with. So far I didn't find any obituary or any proof of death. Maybe I didn't search deep enough, maybe The Ultra X-ray is just adding bullshit.

We have to remember that Chris is a perpetual child. I think if you look back as far as you possibly can, when you at most 5 or younger and you drew a god-awful stick man next to a box that was supposed to be his house, you didn't think it looked bad, because you didn't see the big picture. What you paid attention to were the details, you thought you drew those corners very nicely, you were very particular about drawing, say, the buttons or stitching on some clothes, even if it looked like chicken scratch when you actually looking at the entire thing itself. It's the details you worked on so hard that were the focus. I think Chris' autism, or whatever mental deficiency he has, magnified this affect. He can get details about faces together, but he can't recognize entire faces. He thinks other art looks bad because he didn't actually spend time drawing and studying the details, he only sees the little things and thinks "that isn't how I would draw it! This is trash!" That also is consistent with why his biggest criticism of Alec's comic was that it was "blocky".
Chris definitely has an ego problem, but it's not an outward "comparing himself to others and choosing himself" egoism that we're all so used to, it's more of an inward "I am the only person who exists and the existence of everyone who isn't compatible with my thought processes are nullified in my mind" egoism, like a baby.
As for why his art didn't improve, that's an easy one. You can't improve if you don't see any faults to improve upon.

My guess would be that he feels no need to improve. His mother showers him with compliments I believe, calling him a creative genius and such. It is rather bizarre though, that his most recent work is nearly indistinguishable from the stuff he drew in 2009.

IDK, every time I see Chris' messed up smile lately I just got a bad feeling that I shouldn't trust anything seen because of Idea Douche. I keep getting reminded of all the trolling stuff from back in the PVCC days, with having ol' lard butt sitting next to a hambeast and seeing if you can get a reaction out of the amateur trolls. He almost seems too happy to be participating in something on the other end of something.

This latest video of him and his mom preening for the camera as they sell Cole's old stuff... I mean Borb was supposedly near incoherent and not doing well, Sorbet was run over by a car, financial problems everywhere, and then... it's unreal to me. I'm willing to accept being 100% wrong about this, but since Idea Douche I just don't take anything that happens with this mental runt seriously anymore. I'm honestly getting sick of him and wish he would just improve his life and become human or die or something. Maybe it's my suspicious nature since the old PVCC days, but I just feel gray, empty inside lately concerning him. It hasn't hurt that the last few weeks have been bereft of any news worth giving a damn.

I'm worried I might start drifting to the DSP section and start watching that nonsense or some crap.

Anyone else get the feeling not to take this crap as legit anymore? Can someone convince my tired ass that this genetic mutation is worth taking seriously as a lolcow anymore?

1) What you're experiencing isn't mere doubt, it's a dying meme. The moment Chris started to monetize the meme that is his glorious existence, it's humorous value just kept going down. Now don't get me wrong, Chris is extremely funny whenever we see him, I myself was laughing at today's video because of the many little details we saw (gopnik hat, the ridiculous hair, Barb's YES), but we see him for so little, and whenever we do, it's because he wants to sell us something.

2) Arguably, every troll saga was to some extent troll-manipulated, Chris is the kind of person who would just sit in his room and be totally okay with toys/Vidya/watch TV/porn, that is, if he's not being constantly prodded by someone like a girlfriend asking him "aren't you gonna respond to that Clyde Cash?". Idea guy was no different in that regard, except that he made the troll strings too obvious and visible with the Nazi stuff.

3) If you want to join the DSP hype train, then you need to prepare yourself for some serious autism, the man is an :autism: magnet. Watching DSP is like watching Chris to laugh at Hirtes and A-Log for doggedly trying to take him down, and Anna for furiously whiteknighting him, the true show lies in the supporting cast, not the main man himself. With that said, prepare for a great ride, #DSP2018 is a legitimate candidate for 2018 Lolcow of the year, with incredible events constantly coming out of left field, one of them even inspired a Mr. Metokur video that is completely worth the watch even if you never followed DSP:

Barb was exaggerating for pitybux and the financial issues were largely resolved by Chris's patrons when he started taking Patreon seriously last year. Sorbet's injury could've happened at any time, it's not really indicative of a trend.

I'm honestly getting sick of him and wish he would just improve his life and become human or die or something. Maybe it's my suspicious nature since the old PVCC days, but I just feel gray, empty inside lately concerning him. Chris is generally boring now. Most updates are based on nostalgia, whether it's Chris resuming a blander Sonichu or offering stuff that sells because of his infamy. He still has his moments - the Doopie saga and some updates are entertaining - but those are getting rarer.

He still has bizarre thoughts but has generally been keeping to himself unless prompted by a troll and there's still terrain he hasn't encountered yet, like needing a job to make ends meet. Right now Chris is comfortable, so that doesn't make for much content. He's not being trolled anymore and his patrons are funding his toy fix.

The thing is Chris is never going to mature into a regular adult, he's really autistic and none too smart but one thing he has managed to become is less naive which for trolling purposes is bad (He's not going to make videos raging at basic trolling attempts) but I don't think it's Chris being insincere, he's just grown up and realises he can make money doing what he does (Which I'm sure his mother pushes).

The salad days of trolling Chris are over.

Also as a random thought, I'm surpised they've been no drama in regards to Chris and female toilets.
