Can we use a different word than dysphoria to refer to Chris' unique brand of autism? I feel like it's making light of issues faced by actual transpeople.

Dysphoria is the correct term here. Whatever the cause, whether it's autism or something biological, Chris is viscerally bothered by having a penis. He wants to cut it off. That is not normal. He's severely fucked in the head.

Same way that people with BIID have dysphoria about having a normal count of limbs.

I think you're confusing Chris being weird and funny (which he is) for a lack of legitimacy. It's the same thing with Barb abusing him. Chris is a dipshit and a shitty person himself, but that doesn't mean there isn't a shittier person, an actual abuser, sitting behind him.

I'd like to preface this by saying that this isn't a live event or necessarily the likely future of CWC. But in my time reading articles online, I found a detailed exploration of Adam Lanza, the insane lunatic who killed a bunch of children and his mother in Newtown, CT.

There are a series of similarities between the shut in son of a single mother and CWC; the complete inability to function socially, withdrawing into his own world, and increasingly little left to live for. There is also rage, hatred, and a failure to understand the severity of what acting on it would do.

There are vast differences between Barb Chandler and Nancy Lanza, vast differences between sapphire blue Connecticut and newly swing state Virginia. But beneath it all, Adam was an increasingly delusional lunatic who had violent fantasies and ultimately decided to make them real.

We know Chris as an asocial recluse now in his 30s. He's succeeded in but one goal--losing his virginity--by means that may be more pathetic than keeping it. He has worked less than three months in his life, he destroyed his last actual friendship by drawing porn of the girl in question without her approval, and now has lost his webcomic, his father, his idealized vision of his own past, and now his home.

It is obvious to all that he will never achieve what he hoped to achieve. What happens when he gives up on that hope? What will he have left, short of hatred, repressed anger and the belief that every man is a jerk and every woman has a jerk?

I think this possibility is quite real. Maybe Bob has no gun, maybe Chris is physically incapable of going on a rampage, but I have to wonder what happens when Chris snaps. And I wonder, how long or how little Chris is from that point.

CWC is unstable - but I can't see this guy going on a violent shooting rampage where he kills innocent people. The jackass could barely use pepper spray right, for pity's sake.

The worst I can imagine is - after picking his target (most likely one of the game shops/malls that he's been banned from) - he'll try to take a swing at random people with his trusty bat; but will easily be taken down by nearby bystanders.

Serious question: with all of the stuff that Chris is hilariously bad at, is there anything that he is actually good, or at least average at?

Chris is impotent, in more ways than one. He has no energy to plan, prepare for, and carry out anything like this.
Plus, he's just too lazy to even care.
If he snapped, he'd be more likely to sink into a deep depression and withdraw from the world entirely, rather than lash out violently.

The YouTube shooter used a 9mm and got the drop on the people at a crowded party and she didn't kill anyone.
Knowing Chris, he'd fuck up so bad, he'd somehow manage to to be the first mass shooter to accidentally bring someone back to life with his gun.

Chris would probably rather not handle a gun at all. Besides that he's not really capable of nursing grudges because he lives in the moment and shields himself with schizotypal delusions that are pretty benign. I think the only ongoing grudge he's had is with businesses, and that's just because he's reminded of his bans when he wants to go shopping. He looks back on his school days with nostalgia so there's no way he'd do anything against them.

Oh, he's also never self harmed so there's no way he'd kill himself and he's too afraid of jail to do anything that'd get him put in prison.
